Heya Stakers, as you can see from the title. Many people asking how the Slots game works or how to calculate the payouts, so I was rather asking myself that "Is the rules game not in the right place that people didn't see the guide how to play it".

Kinda brainstorming for a while and I found something cool that maybe will be implemented to the site as the idea reaches to developer. Here is the result of that Idea that I mean:

What do you guys think about this, or maybe people having other idea about the "Game Rules Placement"?  If you want to know the Rules button that I'm talking about, you can find it under the game with the name : Rules in the desktop, or in Settings > Rules on mobile.

I like it!

It’s definitely good to be able to pull up the window and refer to it in the thick of playing.

The only issue is with the already-crowded ChatBox area which has a lot of action & controls surrounding it...

While we’re on this topic, don’t you guys feel  that there is quite a lot of blank “wasted area” surrounding the actual slot?

Screen resolution is the reason behind the placement, but maybe eventually we could make better use of this space. With the chat-box open,  It’s slightly strange to have the main game only occupy half or lesser of the entire viewing area.

For me Provably NO, it's useless  because every time we play we are chatting and rules can be seen
once if you already know it. No need to see the rules of every game every-time.

Hi Flansca,

I like that idea, but I don't think any slot on any site I have played at has the slot rules show up like that.  Most show the rules by clicking a button and then may have multiple pages of rules that you tab/scroll through.  The location of the button is usually where the other buttons for the slot are located which is the same for stakes slot.

I regularly play slots at a variety of sites, and so I understand the basic rules for slots, which are similar across all of them.  I read the rules one time, and pretty much understood everything about the slot on stake.  I'm not saying I remembered it all, like the 20 different lines or all the different payouts, but I noticed those when I started playing.

I usually read the rules before I play for the first time on any slot, and then never read them again.

I can understand how this could be different for a first time slots player, which is why there is a great guide on this forum that I read somewhere.  Was a really good read for beginners.

The actual rules were a bit confusing especially about the scatter wins though the last time I read them.  I mentioned it to Eddie already, so I'm sure they will reword it at some point to make it clearer.  Plus there is not one of the awesome "Cool as sh#t Stake Rules" included on the slots like you have on most other games lol.

Thanks for your appreciation :).

Actually my idea was from the sportsbook if you saw from Ed's stream that having a bet-slip on it. So that is why not we have the rules or something than we hide it if we decided to not use the chat.

Thank you for your feedback aswell, love it!

The idea was driven from the guys that always asking how to play the game, like hundred time I got those tickets from anywhere, even in my telegram xD. So, the idea was like if you decided to not use the chatlog, for now, it will be in the fixed position on the middle, so than they needed some adjustment and making the Slots game broken, like below of this. (this issue still not being fixed for long time because of resize or something about the browser size configuration.

The rules wasn't gonna be in there all the time, but you can adjust between chatlog or the rules one. If you wanted to see the rules, just press the "Hide chatlog button", and then the Rules that I created in the first will appear.

Maybe if you having some ideas that maybe Stake will have a new game that you would ever know, it can be useful to newcomers that just jumped out to gambling, they will need this. :)

Flexibility in design layout can be difficult because the phone is normally portrait format and a computer or laptop is landscape. The space you see on a computer screen is a result of the layout priority being given to the phone.
