Faucethub, the microwallet which supports 16 cryptocurrencies and tokens is discontinuing the majority of its services and making a major rebranding. Apparently, Faucethub has been asked by regulatory authorities of several countries to become regulated as a financial company which they do not intend to do as they are a firm believer of privacy for their users. As a result, they will be discontinuing most services and remain only as an Offerwalls provider. Services discontinued include Altcoins, Games (Rambo etc), Faucets, Deposit-Withdraw, Sites list, Anti-Fraud stats, Premium account and the only crypto that will remain is Bitcoin.

If anyone has Altcoin balances on Faucethub, these have to be withdrawn asap and no later than 10 December 2019. I myself had some cryptos on Faucethub and I imagine some of you may also have some as it was a quite popular site.

For anyone interested in learning more there is a detailed announcement in the link below:

I actually thought the age of the faucet was long over, sorry that one of the last hold outs of the faucet era is having to close up due to regulatory concerns.  Faucets have had a long history in crypto and of course at Stake and Primedice, but that era has been over for awhile and became far too vulnerable to abuse.

I run a faucet site right now, not going to say the name but im getting 3 million page views a month from it. Its really not dead at all, its a niche just like anything else on the internet. They are still going strong. We have seen the effect of faucet hub closing on our site tho, after all it was one of our withdraw methods.

I have some altcoins there but not enough to be withdrawn. I don't claim faucets anymore but still use it for referrals.

Hope these changes will benefit all.
