polor12 Posted November 17, 2019 #1 Posted November 17, 2019 I will; explain a few things about sports book for the new players =.. generally the basics.. so point spread/handicaps will not be explained .. but the other extra like sets quarters corner kicks or any other side bets will not be included.. because there is too many to go through with so many different sports all side bets are different and has a long explanation . but hopefully if there is any question just leave a reply.. and one of other players can answer them.. First thing you will notice is the numbers by the team or players name. -1.23 and +2.5.. the numbers will differ,.. those numbers is basically tell you who is favored to win.. the lower number is the most favored to win. and higher is least.. so if you gonna bet is just going to multiply the amount what you bet.. this is a safety and sometimes a for sure win.. that is the moneyline straight bet.. but there are other sections that you can bet besides the money line..there point spreads where actual points will be given or taken away from the overall score by the end of game.. say this team will give this other team an extra 7.5 pts. if the score is 35-28.. the 7,5 will be added. so the actual score is 35-35.5.. so that means they made enough to cover the spread to win..this kind of betting is one good strategy to get a good win.. now to parlay/multibets.. this type is betting is really know your shit or chance of luck.. you are actually betting numerous games in 1 bet amount.. with the odds adding up. the multiplier can reach to the thousands.. this is where you can bet a little and win a lot. but there is a catch to this.. if 1 game happens to lose.. then the whole bet is a lost..if there is game that ends up in a tie.. and you did not bet as a tie game.. that is considered a lost.. games can end up in a tie especially in soccer and hockey. rarely in football and basketball.. parlaying games can be fun but can also bring devastating outcomes.. i know first hand.. it isnt pretty,, this just the basic or betting on sportsbook. .any questions,, just leave a reply. and to the other players that knows about sports betting your knowledge of a certain sport and how to bet it.. would be welcome to share to this post. happy betting.!!
