iamsheikhadil Posted November 20, 2019 #1 Posted November 20, 2019 I don't consider sports gambling as gambling because it involves skills and not luck and risks. We should all be thankful that sports gambling is a thing that help us to distract ourselves from normal gambling that involves only luck.
Etude Posted November 20, 2019 #2 Posted November 20, 2019 Well I think placing bets on which player / team to win is really not much different from predicting a outcome and therefore is essentially well.. gambling to me.
cukup2 Posted November 20, 2019 #3 Posted November 20, 2019 as long as there is at stake in my opinion it is still the same as gambling because in the end we will feel the loss of the balance or even will get a doubled balance, but betting in sports we really rely on a team that might be on paper they will win but in the field not necessarily hehe
cryptofly Posted November 20, 2019 #4 Posted November 20, 2019 Good topic, I don´t know. Maybe it becomes "gambling" when you place a bet but you have no clue neither the game nor the teams; this is the moment when it becomes a truly gambling by letting luck to play with your choice.... My opinion.

Still, you can predict in it. You maynot be able to predict it on dice because it's all random. But on a match between Australia and Afghanistan on cricket, it's predictable in today's date.
