Does skills matter in the game of cricket?

Many times I have seen the unpredictable things happening in the game of cricket unlike other games. 

I think cricket is the game which involves a lot of luck instead of just skills. 

It is very hard to predict the winner in cricket even though it can be a match between a weak team and a very strong team.

Well every where you need luck and its always clear who have a bit of advantage, but that does not mean pick with advantage Will always win thats why you need luck

I really have no idea about to game of cricket but it is really popular among Stakers then I will soon to learn more about I believe.   Well as to your question, for something to be regarded as a sports then skills are definitely the most basic requirement in my opinion.

I have never bet on a cricket match because I don't understand about this game and cricket sports are very rare information maybe it's only in my mind that doesn't understand cricket sports lol

Still, in cricket fixing matches are very very common. Players are paid to play badly to favor the bookies. I guess, it's really sad how a sport has been corrupted so much.

Yeah, skill matters everywhere. If you have you can do your bit, still luck is a bigger factor.

Yeah you are right. Weak team can defeat the strong team unexpectedly in cricket. And most of the time fight equally till the end of the game. So it's enjoyable. And skill doesn't works in cricket game. Though sometimes we can easily predict the winner early and the result also become same.

Yes, skill matters in the game of cricket. If you have the skills you can do really well there, if you doesn't then you are just throwing an arrow in dark.

I think luck is the second factor, firstly you needs to have skills & then we can say fortune favours the brave.

I don’t know anything about cricket, this sport is popular in India 🇮🇳 as i know. Not popular in Europe i think. Maybe it will be interesting to play cricket 🏏. I will try once upon a time.
