Search Forum Topics Before Making

This is just a quick message to everyone here and I wanted to reiterate something to you.
As you all know, we have seen an increase in the forum posts and responses, due to the double pay that was announced on Twitter.

Before you make a new topic, always use the search bar and see if a topic on that subject has been created before or recently. If it has already been created, then think of another subject to talk about or make it more relevant for this moment in time.

For example, someone can create a topic of “What is your favourite game mode?”. To make this more unique and original, you could ask “What has been your favourite game to play over Christmas” or “What is the most festive Christmas game at the moment”.

I hope that everyone here has fun up until the end of the year and that you all enjoy making/responding to forum posts

in my opinion many topics have been discussed repeatedly, but only with different titles, but the contents of the topic remain the same even with words that change. maybe some people just want to put their thoughts in writing and they don't know that the topic already exists

I also saw an increase in activity in today's forum. hopefully a lot of good topics will be created and fun to talk about, because most thread makers are just a few people and the topic is less interesting 😁😁😁

This is actually a very good advice for newbies especially who relentless create endless amounts of topics that already has an existing thread which is active too. More so during this double rewards for the forum period happening right now.

Nonetheless, without their incessant posting, there wouldn't be enough topics for us to post our opinions on! 😂

Jokes aside, searching the forum is mandatory for thread-starters to prevent repeated topics - unless you're absolutely sure your thread is 100% unique. It's a shame a lot of players only start threads because of the higher reward... which end up as junk/spam at the bottom of the sub-forum.

so many times we make topic just to get forum rewards or to start new Discussion Which already started by someone else already.
In Forum we need to check before creating post weather such topic started by any one in last 50-100 post atleast.
I don't think it would take more time like 20-30 seconds time would go.

But some of the post really not accurate tried to search some topics and the title isnt really same as what he/she described, there are a lot of difference but yes indeed some are related topics but I think if people didnt post or create a topic. Let say something similar to the old one. Then every one will go back and comment to the old one even they already replied to a certain post, but I agree with you

Yes, the number of similar topics is growing and you need to use the search, but unfortunately no one does this in the hope of getting Satoshi for a similar post.

thats because too much posts already here now its thousands of topics, people cant make new content by their own everytime, i know and i agree its not good at all to repeat same thing over and over again, but you can create some twist in the same topic and subject and post again, with some new creative thinking, then i think its not a problem, 30 to 40% similarity is ok because there is already too much stuff.

I did not pay attention to this but now I understand why the forum is very active and that there is a lot of message from people that I never see much. It's a big mess but it will be temporary. Besides, I don't understand why to double the rewards.

I appreciate you posting this, because I was actually just about to make a post saying the same exact thing. I've seen so many duplicate topics posted lately - a lot of them were posted within hours of each other. We have a great search engine for the forums here, people should use them... Especially before creating a topic that may already exist.

This is such a nice and helpful topic for newbies  I am really curious what has been posted in the past and sometimes I just read past topics and maybe give my opinion about those topics 😜

Most of the time I just reply on topics and maybe make a topic every day but I don’t really want to post old and frequently discussed topics it’s just spam nothing else

I have a friend he just joined recently Stake forums and he was spamming a bit just to get rewarded he was re-posting same old topics and so many replies on other player topics making worthless posts just to get rewarded from the Forums, after 2-3 says he got warned and he didn’t make anymore spamming posts or topics

I agree with you 100%. If everyone did this, 75% of the posts would be gone, and the remaining 25% of the posts would have a ton of engagement and viewership. Pity the forum is cluttered with repeated topics.

You say right before post a topic we need to search this topic already someone post or not because 2,3 days so many users post so much topics but I not post any topic I just use one time forum and just replied few topics

I do encourage to do as the topic says.  Take a deep look in the forum in order to know if there is a same topic already posted before any user creates a new one.  I am sure that there are many topics that has been doubled just because we did not take some minutes to make a search.  Will benefit all of us.

I do search before making a new topic. And I also think twice that is the topic going to be interesting or not before making it. That's a good suggestion to name unique topic with title by searching. But many people creates new topic that have been created and discussed before.

Yes exactly what i am thinking , since the forum has double pay. so many people makes some new topic without seeing the old topics. so they makes the same topic and i think its really annoying

But even if they search for the same topic,

everybody has a different story to tell. A different point of view so it might be the same subject you are referring to and not necessarily the same topic.

Yes I totally agree with the original post. This topic has been covered before in the Search Forum before posting topic, and in the Before posting please search forum first topic. Sometimes people need a reminder I guess.
