hey fellas hope you all are awesome today

i was wondering when i was reading an article about gambling and its increasing popularity in the whole world, specially in U.S, according to current data "gambling in the US is a $240 billion industry employing 1.7 million people in forty states" i mean this is hugeeee.

and reason which i can think is the growing inflation in the whole world, the unemployment rate, people cant earn much to take care of their family and expense, they found gambling is a shortcut of getting too much money, but i think they are not realizing that gambling can make you homeless as well, but in other way it can make you rich too.

whats your thought that why gambling is becmoing so popular ?

It isnt the reasons you might think due to these factors listed.

The growth in the united states is due to the laws in certain states allowing their population to bet on sports games now.

It was banned to do so legally for the longest time and only in the past year has it been legalized to get on college and major sports games. This is where places like fanduel has been successful all the sudden.

Gambling has always been a very popular thing and right now even more so due to the availability of cryptocurrency gambling so I guess it will only get more and more widespread from now onwards.

well i tihnk its getting more popular because of accessing the gambling online is getting way more easy for everyone and it can be done from home. because of the cute sounds and very good illustrations its even triggering the brain more.

Gambling has always been very popular, even before certain things becoming legal.  There are casinos now almost everywhere and more and more online gambling is becoming available.

This is a very interesting subject on which we can debate for a long time.
I will give my opinion which will be only personal, I think that the game can be very dangerous for 80% of the players who become addicted and get locked in the game otherwise you risk nothing. I also think over the years that we will have more and more people playing it because gambling will dream of players.

Yes Gambling is getting really famous and a successful business and that is why many people are making more sites and opening branches of it even on the place where gambling was not allowed previously, now due to cryptocurrency it is reaching there too.

 

I had more than 3000 refs on a cryptocurrency gambling site (not stake, but would like to have on stake too) last year and now reduced to 700+ active, but still it shows how popular gambling is and how people love to join and play.  Cryptocurrency is making gambling more anonymous, private and more reachable to people and most of gambling sites are now having BTC or other cryptocurrency as an payment option too.

I think gambling is becoming popular because of now it is possible to gamble online, bet on sports online etc. This was not possible in the past due to technology. I think this is the main reason , not unemployment rate which is the lowest in history of the U.S.

Gamling is so popular for a long time. I think %95 of gamblers love gambling because they like the risk sense and you can win some money but u need don't be a pathological gambler.
