Double forum rewards continued?

Since forum rewards were doubled, I have seen a significant increase in activity on the forum. So many fun forum posts have been made and the quality has been improved from before. I was finding that before this promotion, the forum was lacking on new posts and not many discussions were going on.

So, do you guys think that Stake should go back to the old rewards system of 1/2 the current value, or just keep things the way that they are? As @nuuuitsjdragonas mentioned before, the older forum rewards were even higher than the event that is taking place now.

I just don't want the forum becoming inactive again and there might be a lot less discussions going on

The older forum rewards were worth more than they are now? Maybe to him because of the respected rank he holds but not the ones who never really posted before. Like myself I was receiving around 752 satoshis per post now receiving 1504 satoshis. Which is nice and would post more quality posts into the new year if this continues.

Because from what I noticed the lesser the quality and quantity of words in your posts the less you get.

If higher ranks do get paid more than I could seeing it getting as good as bitcointalk one day. But that is still far off from being at that level because it took them 10 years to get there!

It definitely, with almost rock--solid certainty, is going back to the way it was before.

What a shame though, as the forums have become livelier with more discussions and activities.

The thing is that it isn't totally about the money for me. Yes, getting a lot of satoshi for making a post is really nice and it gives me an incentive to talk here. However, just a week before this promotion, I would say that only a couple of Stake Discussions were going on every day. I was trying to respond to as many as I could, but there simply wasn't that content available.

Maybe, doubling the forum rewards just shows that people are given a higher incentive to make posts at this level. I love the Stake community and I just don't want things going back to the way that they were before

Sadly, not everyone has that level of passion to actively contribute in forums if there weren't any rewards.

I think the current rewards are at the sweet spot.

Before this nerf, threads were being rewarded with up to 7,000 sat(s) and posts, up to 3,000. After the changes, it's no wonder the forums got real quiet.

It's only up to a certain no. of posts before the rewards for are fixed, which currently is at 2,000 for posts and 5,000 for threads. 

This is assuming you fulfil the minimum character requirements.

Accounts with lower post-counts are being evaluated based on both quality/quantity algorithms, which explains your difficulty in getting maximum value i.e. 2,000 satoshi(s).

I agree regarding the increase activity on the forum however when it comes to forum rewards system stake made right choice to decrease awards because previous system had too generous awards and it attracted many spammers. At some point the forum was flooded with useless posts and subjects. On the other hand, the thing they introduced was just too low and I welcomed the Christmas promotion. I think it should stay because it,s perfect. It,s not too low and not too high. I hope stake would consider at least extending the promotion.

thats purely depens on the stake. i would love to hang around here. in the stake forum.  but you can see there is also a possibility that it can be  exploited too. 
Another thing stake wanted to introduce their forum to all member thats maybe one of their promotion or marketing strategy

I would love to see the forum rewards to be doubled continuously. This of course would help us forum posters get more rewards. And it will also help the forum stay alive! I think this is a good idea. But, i highly doubt that it will happen...

everyone would like to see this forum reward for forever, but i dont think eddie will do this, it will must end at the end of this year, and i am sure many people will leave again forum and this time even few old members will also stop using forum for sometime, because when you get use to some better thing you cant feel comfortable with the less nicer thing for few weeks atleast.

I do feel this very same thing will happen once the rewards halve in the coming new year. As we know with bitcoin halving this also happens. But I think those who reach hero level or above will benefit more once it does cease to be double the reward amount per post.

Theirs might stay if they are respected level members on here. Who knows.

Yeah the double-reward in forum is still active.  I wish the old reward in forum will back as you mentioned that the rewards in old forum is higher than this promotion that would be awesome in the forum community. So many people will active, sharing ideas, sharing strategy, sharing goods and bads experience here in Forum. Thats great to be imagine i hope it gets real also its a win-win both stake and players because the more active in forum. The more people will know that stake is not just a gambling site but its also a community that helps and talks about problems, profit, losses and dreams. Well thats it hahahahaha Merry Christmas and Happy New year guys ^^

I didn't notice the increase... I think it's a great incentive Stake is giving and actually I personally don't care how many satoshis I would get for posting... If I find an interesting topic, I will reply and if not I will not...

Maybe they should reward the posts differently, but that's really hard because it would need a lot of human interaction

Before start this dubble promotion stake forum not so active just few users use forum but after this promotion forum so much active and so many players use forum I think this is nice activity

Wait so does that mean the rewards in forum are more higher than right now? When was that and the difference is? I think forum should have a good and stable amount so people will really like to hangout on forum so much it's kinda boring if you see the forum old posts all over again

Oh im hoping that they will extend this double reward here on forum, so this site will be active more again, so many players will create a great and helpful topics that can help to others.

This is undoubtably true.  People respond to incentives and players, including me, have hopped back on the forum in a big way.

However, activity does not equal a good forum, the posts need to be meaningful and thoughtful and on that score the outcome is much more mixed.  Given what I've seen I doubt the doubled rewards will continue but hey, I'm often wrong.  I certainly hope they continue!

The good news is the rewards have been both higher and lower and so this is something @Dan is always looking at and monitoring carefully so if a better forum results it may continue!

It would be great if the increased forum rewards are continued way past into 2020 or even more perhaps in a more constructive and rewarding way even that increases proper forum activities instead of unnecessary spams.

It would be nice to see the rewards stay similar to what they are now, as long as the posts remain relevant and the spam stays lower than it was in the past.  A nice gesture on Stake's part for the holidays, but as we've all seen, the better the rewards are the more spam they create.  I am so sick of seeing multiple topics on the same subject over and over again....

Yes i can feel that when the forum pay was doubled, so many people get intention to make some new topic or even reply the topic. i hope its not ended in december 2019 so Forum Stakers will active again after 2020

yes maybe the forum should go back to the way it used to be. forums will be more lively with quality topics. Many people will visit the forum, but maybe some people will spam just to get sats

I really miss the very old forum rewards, where you could earn up to 7,500 satoshis for creating a super high quality post. The forum will see better quality posts if they increase the rewards.

Double forum rewards will be end with this year i think, and I'm also hopefully to change back reward system by qulity after this promotion end. If it will happen no need to worries for forum post qulity and people are always acitve here again I think.
