VIP Challenge Adventure Continues

Not going to make this too lengthy, so a quick recap - I had lost couple of opportunities to have been the top 5 in the VIP challenge leaderboard and win a big prize, but was too unlucky to.

BLACKJACK VIP CHALLENGE

Hit a natural balckjack with two diamond cards. Was only looking to play a few hands (with around the min bet) and when I come below a certain amount I'd stop. But like always we continue hoping to win it back. After about 250 rounds I had lost close to 540k sats, and for some reason I got some feeling that I could recover by going 540k sats in the next round (due to a huuge red streak).

I bet and just barely got a tie, and wasn't sure if I wanted to bet again but went for it anyway and bam I had hit the VIP challenge, unless the dealer got a blackjack too xD. It felt really nice for a challenge to go my way for once when I wasn't even planning to get the top few places. I was 1st at that time but a whale sent me to 2nd place (0.035 btc) which was still great. :D

P.S I had lost 0.026 on Plinko VIP challenge just before this one. But VIP challenges are really fun and interesting I'd say.

Interesting story that’s always fun to read.

I got extremely lucky for the BlackJack VIP challenge... started out with a bet size of 30,000 satoshi(s) with a meagre balance of only 300,000 satoshi(s).

Almost busted at one point in time very early into my attempt, but managed to escape death and hit the required BlackJack with ~ 50 tries. 😁

Wow! Thats a very nice story to read and I really believe you were very lucky that moment. Congratulations on your win at the VIP chanllenge. I am hoping someday soon I can accomplish that as one of my goals here. But due to the fact that many VIPs are veterans here at Stake, I don't think I will really ever come to that point as it is very impossible for me to beat anyone of you hahaha! I am not really so luck in terms of gambling though from time to time I may win some ample amount. ANyways again, Congratulations on winning at the VIP Challenge. I wish nothing but good luck in all your future endeavours here at Stake. Happy New Year and may 2020 bring you more success in your life, more wins at the casino, more prosperity for your whole family and most of all more love for you and the ones you love the most and profitability in your finances. Stay safe! Kudos!

we no one knows the results, sometimes when in doubt we lower the bet and it turns out that what is sought instead comes out, that's gambling. I failed several times on the VIP challenge, and I was only once at the top level on the VIP challenge when hunting tier slots and I hit 1544x on the slots

Yeah thats the thing with these VIP challenges is that they can be very pricey and expensive if you run into bad luck. If i dont win within a certain amount of bets or loss then i just quit.

Doing bets 10 times smaller than your complete balance is a very risky thing to do xD Glad it went your way though :) Yes I find it interesting too, to read other peoples stories.

It is in fact fun, but you should always be careful since the min bet could drain your balance. :)

@Nicol3 you don't have to come top 10 :P You can also just hit the minimum requirement haha

Yes I usually do the same but this one time, having lost so much I just wanted to recover and leave the challenge, to my luck I did both at once, and then it struck that I had hit the challenge with quite a big bet. :D

This is probably where you went wrong. Chasing losses will most likely be the cause of you losing even more money. You need to maintain your bank roll weekly, otherwise you’ll be finding that you’re depositing more and more money into an unprofitable habit.

What I do is assess the challenge e.g. I’ll ask myself what will be the cost of me entering and how much can I expect back from it? If it is either highly risky or I can’t expect a large ROI from it, I simply won’t do it.

Yeah I honestly do do that. But at that moment I had to leave and I had an evenue amount of money had I lost it or won.

I was going to win or lose that amount and for some reason I didn't even care. So in this case I didn't mind.

But yes it's true, I say it often to other people as well. And with the VIP challenges I join the ones where I think I won't lose so much.

But thanks :)
