wngo123 Posted January 1, 2020 #1 Posted January 1, 2020 I was wondering about the goals we set when we play on stake and for most of us it is a specific amount and we try to get to that amount. This could happen fast if we are lucky and in that case we continue to play and end up losing everything or like in most cases it takes a lot of time and even more than we expected, but we stay glued to the screen desperately trying to reach our goal even when we already lost 80% of our balance why trying to do it. I think we should change this and instead setting the goal which is specific amount, we should set time limit. For example today I will play for no more than 2 hours and whatever balance I will get after that time it is what it is for that day. I think it could help to protect us more against busting because there will be no chasing specific amount, but everything will be around time we spend and this way not only we can control our balance more but also time we spend gambling. When chasing specific amount we forget about time. Here everything will be around time, we could just manage things better and it's so easier to gamble when you don't need to chase specific amount, it's more fun this way. What do you think?
williamshennie9 Posted January 1, 2020 #2 Posted January 1, 2020 I do not set amounts of profit that I want to make in gambling. It is just too unpredictable in my opinion. So I would just focus on your bankroll, and how to gamble it accordingly.

Shekhar1992GL Posted January 2, 2020 #4 Posted January 2, 2020 We can set goal and keep following goal make good profit. so many time gamblers change their goals after reaching 1st target easily leads to unnecessary risk and losses. i made such mistake in last 2 month and not able to make single withdrawal. compare to last 6 months before that 2 months i keep playing with my strategies and making good profits every month. its nearly same what i expected in entire month (except in 1 month i made much more than that) now i again started following target strategies from current month.

I always experience that when i keep winning a great amount of Bitcoin or XRP. I always wanted to get some more its like i want to keep digging deeper and deeper until i reached a dead end (bust) Hahahahaha. I have always profit goal in my mind but i always broke it. When i deposit 2.5 xrp my goal is that to make it 30xrp then exchange it to Bitcoin cash so i can withdraw it but when i reached 30xrp. I all-in in HiLo when 30xrp turned to 50xrp. I all in again in HiLo then my 50xrp turned to 70-80xrp. All in again its like a continuous cycle of betting. Its like i keep running in a circle. I dont know how to stop so i ended up losing amount of money than withdraw. So when i reached my goal now i always exchange it imediately coz i dont know what will hapenned then i always leave a small coins so i can play some games to entertain myself. I hope it will never happened again because if i keep doing this i will lose a great amount of money because of my greediness Hahaahahahaha. Happy new year guys Lets changed this and improved it more

sheenazbay Posted January 4, 2020 #8 Posted January 4, 2020 maybe you are right, play for only a few hours and whatever results are obtained we must stop playing and continue tomorrow. but tomorrow is not necessarily our lucky day. like yesterday, I made 30k more than 1k doge and I stopped playing, and today, I only played a few minutes and I lost 30k more

Like my forum post before where I explained the worries of this, maybe now it is clear to you that it is actually happening and something needs to be done about it. Also, simply look at this format. Kingcashedout Posted January 4, 2020 #11 Posted January 4, 2020 when i play i ne er set any goals...i simply deposit wait for it to confirm n then just try for big wins....actually im lying cuz usually if i get a few big wins ill actually set a target.....pretty much just round it off to the next big amount......if i win .1 then im trying to reach .25 ......if i win. .25 then imy target is usually. .5 but if i win. .5 then im ai.ing for 1btc
sahil777 Posted January 5, 2020 #12 Posted January 5, 2020 i mean i think sometimes why even need a goal why not to play fearlessly and just go for big betting and check your luck, actually it can help many times to give you some nice profit, and sometimes even i try for hours to raise 50k sats to only 500k but in the end just got a bust, so better to play without fear of bust and take some nice profit.
evet Posted January 5, 2020 #13 Posted January 5, 2020 I guess it should be the amount that you should be setting as your goal like after making your balance raised into 5 times than when you started playing. My goal is too simple, like when I am able to triple my balance then that would be the end game for me. I will then switch to other currencies with some leftover coins to play or hunt without giving a damn about winning or losing since I got my goal in the other currency.
