GKD09 Posted January 10, 2020 #1 Posted January 10, 2020 So as I've heard from a few users, that their baccarat wager wasn't accumulated to their race wager stats. Are there more people who encountered it today? I usually do play Baccarat for wager during races and get myself to higher ground, but I was trying some new games and wasn't able to play baccarat for todays races. This if true, should have been announced here on the forum, telegram, discord or at least on the rules of baccarat. I don't think its fair just to remove it like that, if they did, and not say anything when they know many actually use it for races. It sure is up to them to exclude a game or a particular type of wager to be excluded (although it is after all a game with house edge too). Hope you guys didn't rip too much using it .
evet Posted January 10, 2020 #2 Posted January 10, 2020 Really, haven't noticed that one. Could a an error ug bug too. Hope supports address this one.

Because Stake wouldn't just do such a thing, without informing I reckon. And yes Thomas I did ask on chat and on support and they said it seems to be fine, but are checking with the developers. So if more people had encountered it, during the past few races or days, we could have a more solid answer yeah.

I remember wagering on baccarat during the past two weeks and it surely counted for the race stats. Anyways, that been said why haven't they put it anywhere though? Or have they??

It seems that excluding a game would be quite intentional to me, is there any of those weird strategies on this game that people use in races to get ahead?
blockbet Posted January 10, 2020 #8 Posted January 10, 2020 They removed bacarrat from race wagers bc everyone was just cheating with it. It was essentially a way to manipulate wager with minimal risk. If you're betting on both sides for baccarat, then clearly you aren't playing to play but to try and get higher on the race charts.
Urnut Posted January 11, 2020 #9 Posted January 11, 2020 I almost never play bacarat, so i would not know haha is it fixed already, i may try some bacarats later

Well its not a bug it was an intentional change as seen in the previous comments. Well yes baccarat was one way to pump your wager amount during races, and I had to use it a lot too since I was wagering from work. But now it won't be as easy. Well its not really cheating, they knew what was happening, I even remember Eddie say to a high roller in the top places, when races were new, that this person is using the good ol baccarat trick. He said that on stream or in chat i dont remember. And it is part of the game, so no one was cheating they just used it to wager bigger amounts. And being a person who used baccarat for races, it did give losses as well (most of the time). I understand if they want to exclude it and it's up to them, but I was not aware of it, and that in my opinion is counted more as "cheating" than us using baccarat to wager. But I still don't know if they did announce it somewhere or not, but I was only aware after one person wagered during a race and it wasn't counted as race wager And that was not the mega race, I'm sure many would have got caught during the mega race too, which isn't right. It's already excluded Find some new strats
cryptonesiac Posted January 12, 2020 #11 Posted January 12, 2020 I don't understand why it's excluded. If the house edge is 1% there's no strategy to break even long term, right? In the end you'll always have to take a risk or lose on every average bet. So why do they exclude it?
