Bitcoin Platinum Faces Scam Allegations

Fork after fork after fork ... Bitcoin seem to be less valuable (for now).

First we had Bitcoin Cash (10x less valuable than BTC for now), than Bitcoin Gold (6 times less valuable than Bitcoin Cash for now), than we had Bitcoin platinum ... who was seemingly created by a South Korean teenager and is just a scam.

I like to see those type of news. People need to understand that it's not because a coin have "Bitcoin" in her name and because she come from a BTC fork that it mean there is no risks.

We will see a LOT of forks from the main blockchain like bitcoin, ethereum, waves & co. That don't mean they are more safe than any other new coins.

Im really agree with you, in this point and because of btc price, maybe BCH is not bad, because allow you to move your money in an easier and cheaper way than btc. But that bitcoin platinum is just a joke.

I dont know why that kid did that, but what i can say is that a lot of ppl will scam with icos in this time, so is better play safe with BTC, ETH, BCH, LTC ... because be part of an ICO today is very dangerous.

Yeah I accept with you up to the point of investing in ICO's but there are some free air drops which are being distributed by some ICO's. So why not make use of them just by registering & following them once in a while

I heard about Bitcoin Silver, Bitcoin Platinum, Bitcoin Diamond, Bitcoin Uranium, Bitcoin Cash Plus, and Super Bitcoin. It's hard to tell how many of these projects are serious. Bitcoin Uranium  sounds like a joke  Others have little more than a post on the Bitcoin Talk page and on Github. But with so much potential of free money, it's practically guaranteed that we'll see more Bitcoin forks in the coming months.

Bitcoin forks are a joke right now lol, Bitcoin Cash was still something sensible but now it's just a way to print money. Bitcoin Super, X, Platinum, Silver, <insert random item of your choice> Wouldnt surprise me if platinum was a scam

Bitcoin Forks are just now a "thing" to pump btc more ! Every Pump ends up increasing the value of bitcoin , thus profiting whales , Whales end up making huge profits out of just "news" of a new fork! Thus whales indirectly also promote the "false news " which makes things like this happen ! Forks have nothing "special" left in them , due to how easy they are becoming and how often they are coming . When i heard of BtcCash , i was excited then after only few months another one popped up that killed the excitement but that made the prices go up! So its literally a Whale's World right now in Crypto , they control ,they hold, they promote,they make money !
