New Zealand whitewashed India in their ODI series. It's now winner takes all, with a Test series beginning shortly. In a test match, it is important to analyse the behaviour of the pitch. Looking at the last series in NZ, the pitches of the two test matches flattened out with nothing for the quick bowlers to work with. But that's not enough to decide anything with these two nations. Surprisingly, NZ gave India a spicy green top in their practice match, where batsmen from both teams struggled to get going! In the past two years India's away tours are being more successful than the home series where they have lost a couple of big series;. However, With the likes of Southee, Boult, Wagner & Grandhomme they just might back themselves to give India a green top, knowing that India historically struggles in swinging & seaming conditions. India still starts as favourite with NZ having an outside chance, but I think a draw may be on the cards. All in all two good teams will lock horns on 21st of Feb & a brilliant contest between bat & ball awaits!
