Administrator Jarrod Posted February 26, 2020 Administrator #1 Posted February 26, 2020 New Zealand vs India 2nd Test Preview India suffered a stunning loss at wellington in their first test, which has raised a lot of eyebrows in the cricketing world. Whereas New Zealand -just like always, raised their standards to clinch a clinical win over a stacked Indian side! Christchurch is ready, New Zealand & India will meet again in 2nd test on the 29th of February. Questions were raised on the batting application of the Indians as their batsmen failed to get going at any stage of the game, but it also reflects how well New Zealand bowled. They executed their plans to perfection by drying things up for Indians. India's comprehensive loss in wellington will raise concerns for sure but should it be a cause for alarm? Maybe not. It wasn't that kind of loss regardless of the margin of defeat. It wasn't that kind of horrible beginning to a test series away from home where all seems lost after just a few days of cricket! Difference between both the sides in the first test - for the Blackcaps, approach to winning the test seemed to be focused more on strategic jabs than roundhouse punches. Where the Indians got in wrong was that they just seemed to be in the way more often than what they'd have planned or hoped for. For the Blackcaps, everything seems to be on track, bowlers are picking up crucial breakthroughs at crucial junctures & batsmen are responding to the situations as well. Their skipper Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor & Colin De Grandhomme were amongst the runs whereas veteren Tim Southee & Trent Boult responded with the ball! India has a lot to ponder upon their batting, the whole batting revolves around one of the best in the world Virat Kohli who will be really eager to turn things up after a bad outing in the first game. With the kind of cricket India has played in the recent times, we can hope for a better performance from them! They have missed out on their positive approach in last game & will be eager to make a strong comeback! New Zealand knows that India will come hard at them in 2nd test but New Zealand's never say die approach spices things up nicely! My predictions - It's a do or die game for Indians & they will push hard to draw the series... India to win at odds of 2.23×
Ali saher Posted February 27, 2020 #3 Posted February 27, 2020 I don't think India win next match in my opinion next match going draw
