Chess for Stake

Any Chess players here?

So I saw that thread about people complaining that it's becoming boring to play here and whatnot, that's ok and understandable, sometimes I feel that way too!

Now imagine how great that would be to have Chess here, Stake's slick design and all!

First thing, the rank system should be like on lichess.org so then people won't be able to cheat, you know your rank and the system won't put you with a high ranked player!

You play several games, get your rank according to the rank system and you all set!

What's more interesting how Stake should make money off it?

Say for each game Stake takes a fee and players can bet whatever they like for each game, with limits, obviously!

Should be several game modes like: Bullet and Blitz 3 and 5 min!

Since it's a casino, Rapid and Classic modes would be redundant for obvious reasons, lol!

Any other suggestions are welcome!

I play chess well, I don't know how the stake team will apply the game in gambling tho if they add it here. Good suggestion tho, I like the chess game, much more if I can earn money playing it

Wow!! That would be incredible. I love the game of chess. As a child I was fascinated trying to learn this game. Until I acquired a manual and learned to play alone. from then on, I only improved every day more.
I am not one of the best in this game, but I play well to duel a few matches.
And if I could play chess and make money out of it, that's great!

Any head to head games would be a welcome addition. It would be trivial to create and stake could, as u mentioned, take a rake from head to head wagers. This is a great idea. Aside from chess I'd also suggest a native scribblio client and obv poker.

i think this is a great idea, seems chess is a common game for us especially me, i hope its Player vs Player too!  so we can compete each other and didnt fight seeds / bot

To be honest I'm not a huge fan of Chess. Sometimes the game will end real quick and sometimes it takes way too much time to end... and chess on online casinos would be really boring in my opinion... people play on casinos to make quick money but playing chess would be really boring and time consuming.

That's why I've stated that there should be only Bullet and Blitz - fast games, plus if you play good you can make big bets right away! 😀

This idea i really like it!. Hope Stake add chess kind of games. I'm a chess lover myself and played with inter school competitions for 4 years when i was in high school decades ago. There is a park near my community where the elders play chess with bets . You can even bet snacks or a potato , once a week during Sundays i go there and play with them.

As such I don't know about this game even I don't think I saw anyone playing this game. I just come on stake for playing mines game because I like and enjoy this game.

Imagine if you had to pay a fee to enter into a pure skill game on Stake, it sounds fun right? Well you’re wrong.

Due to the advancement in computing programming, someone can easily set up a chess bot and win every single game. No matter how good you were in chess, the computer algorithm would win every single time and you wouldn’t have a chance of winning.

I have been calling for it for such a long time and it has taken a very long time for me to get that go ahead from this forum am good in chess and would love to see it here so its time we get that chess in here , so am also hoping I find someone I can beat  though, because it can be a huge disappointment for me to lose when everything I have been asking is here ,and I lose

I see what you mean, lichess.org has this problem too, but only once I stumbled into a dude who used an engine to cheat!

Programmers simply have to make a protection from cheating, that can be done, even lichess.org did it partially, they're not that interested though, not much vested interest, coz the service is free!

I think that's a good idea. I think if more games would be created in here, then more people will come. 

I never played any games here though. I don't know much about these games yet but I'm willing to learn! I'll research later about how I play so that I won't lose anything haha.

i play chess and i am pretty decent at it but you cannot create online place where you can play for money. People will always cheat using chessmaster and other games.

i played chess on mobile for fun but its really time taking and mind eating game i dont think its good for gambling, already these games are eating our head whenever we are in pressure  so i dont think i can handle chess in pressure.

I guess this is quite a suggestion you have given here by asking to have chess implemented into Stake games.  I do not really think that chess fits the whole concept of Stake though and most likely it will not be all that popular too in my opinion.

I don't think stake add this type game in stake games. Stake Dev working on new slots games and I think this work not complete in one year because they work on 12 slots games.maybe in future stake add this type game.

Yeah, Chess implementation could be hard, I know one project that is going to make Chess game with their tokens!

So many Slots, 12, g, that's an overkill, unfortunately I have zero interest in Slots, don't feel that I do anything while playing such a game, just mindless hitting on the button, but it's just me!

Hope Stake will implement as many cool games as possible in the future!

At the very least it could be Chess puzzles or Chess rush!

Exactly, how could I forget, Chess puzzles, and no need to care about PvP then, that could be interesting!

You play puzzle and have multipliers untill you bust a puzzle, you'd have like 2-3 attempts to solve a puzzle and go to another one to get a bigger multiplier!

If people were honest it would be fantastic, but anybody can copy the movements to a second computer with a high AI using fritz or chessmaster.

If Stake add any player v. player game, it must be something lucky related, like a coin flip with a random seed.

Exactly! People will always try and get an advantage, if money is involved. Only if it was an IRL event, prize money for chess games is more than likely never going to happen online. This is such a shame, but it just can’t be implemented because of cheaters

I would really like to play some chess in here actually. I have been playing chess since I was 6 years old, as my grandfather was a great chess teacher, and he insisted that I have to learn this game and he even sent me to a special chess school. At the beginning, I started to hate this game because the made me play it, without me having any kind of interest in it. At last, I started to love it. However, there is one game that I like even more, it is Dungeons & Dragons. That is probably one of the best board games. The biggest problem for this game, is that the rules are pretty... strange, that is exactly why I think that the guides from https://dndguide.net/ are very useful. I am still using them from times to times.
