Mahdirakib87 Posted March 8, 2020 #1 Posted March 8, 2020 COVID-19 (Corona Virus) is the biggest issue at current world. The virus has affected more then 100 countries around the world and it's spreading rapidly. World economy hampered a lot for this. Bitcoin price reached over $10k one month ago at February 9. Now it's staying around $9k(currently under). As world economy get hampered for the COVID-19, do you think it has affected little in crypto price too? Are we going to see huge fall down in BTC and altcoin price soon?
evet Posted March 8, 2020 #2 Posted March 8, 2020 I think Corona will affect the prizes of crypto currencies greatly if it tampers a lot of people who uses cryptos. The demand for crypto in the market will then decrease, this will lead to lesser users of cryptos.
munarpasse Posted March 8, 2020 #3 Posted March 8, 2020 I think Corona will not affect the prize of the crypto currency, I think there is no link between viruses with crypto, although the country is a lot of people infected with Corona virus, this has nothing to do at all. Maybe the demand for crypto on the market will then decline, this will cause fewer users of the Cryptos.
Etude Posted March 9, 2020 #4 Posted March 9, 2020 It might just have an effect on the cryptocurrency prices soon enough if it is not handled and causes more and more economical issues which might just bring the price down when countries which are especially involved in Bitcoin such as China are continually affected by the unfortunate contagious disease.
Mackyrivera Posted March 9, 2020 #5 Posted March 9, 2020 If Covid-19 became unstoppable or uncontrollable, it will greatly affect the economy as more working force will have to stay at home, some have no work no pay policy, others got a certain amount of sick leave or vacation leave, if lesser the work force lesser the income, whatever coins someone is holding if needed will sell it, which supply will go up, lesser demand.. same goes applies to a larger scale, or the upper scale of working force.. it will surely affect the economy and cryptos also bases increment and fluctuation on financial economy just the same as fiat currencies.
GeorgeFeb Posted March 9, 2020 #6 Posted March 9, 2020 Prices are already tumbling everywhere, Dow and all that jazz, and sure Trump is guilty, lol! Obviously he's not! This virus is a human made thing, developed specifically to make a living hell out of the world economy and create a craze among people and it has quite a success! If it'd go down this road then Bitcoin would be the least of our concerns and maybe this virus is not that dangerous as portrayed by the media, still, most of the people go with everything media says, so the media creates quite a fake reality that in turn causes economic disasters which are real! But, it's also a good time to buy a dip, ha-ha!

World economy damaged for corona virus tragedy. And crypto depends on world economy. That's all. 4 hours ago, GeorgeFeb said: But, it's also a good time to buy a dip, ha-ha! Might be not ATM, wait until the world economy become stable. It won't be back up until the effect of corona stopped. Cause most of the country shutting down their cities when it getting affected by the virus. And it's very bad for economic system. Finally crypto depends on it.
yomzkie Posted March 9, 2020 #8 Posted March 9, 2020 I guess it will not affect it, since we are not touching it like fiat money.. i see it will rise because they will see the other option to pay or transact by digtal means more safer and easiest way to do We see ups and downs before eventhough when theres no corona virus.. i guess its just a normal pumps and dumps by coin and any other alts
Ali saher Posted March 9, 2020 #9 Posted March 9, 2020 I think this virus affect crypto currency that's why bitcoin price just within few hours down 1k plus USD. Not just affect crypto currency, so many other business affect to this virus .
sahil777 Posted March 9, 2020 #10 Posted March 9, 2020 ofcourse, its already effecting and it will be more worse in coming weeks and months, i can see bitcoin at 3k or 4k level very soon, stock markets are destroying, world tourism, hotel indusrty, clubs everything is down now a days, this is going to be very bad in coming days.
Ufra Posted March 14, 2020 #11 Posted March 14, 2020 As you know the China already successfully controlled at the coronavirus and this system will arrange in all the countries. So bitcoin cannot illuminate. It price will controlled after stopping coronavirus.
Mashfiqun2018 Posted March 14, 2020 #12 Posted March 14, 2020 It is affecting the market in my opinion. Crypto is nothing but the users of it. If they are in a rush for money or are sick and became isolated from the market, it can surely put a bad effect on the crypto ecosystem. And the recent scam project fund transfers could be a culprit too.

The price of bitcoin dropped more than 50% to as low as $3700 in less than 48 hours. Now it's back to over $5000 but it still doesn't look to good. Let's just hope now that the price is going to stabilize at this level over $5000 and from here on start growing back up towards $10.000. But this doesn't seem very likely because this is just the beginning of the epidemy and look what happened. I wonder what's going to happen when the epidemy will reach its peak, the whole market could collapse. What peak? There won't be any peak, mate, this virus thingy is overblown specifically to create a panic and hurt the economy! Although I do appreciate the sentiment that this virus is no joke, but neither a seasonal flu that kills way more people! I would like to, like many others for Bitcoin to go from 5k to 10k, that would be great, just have to wait till the end of the month when all this Corona craze will start to die off...

This is the mean reason crypto currency affect I hope very soon price stand a good amount.
Magdsolieman Posted March 30, 2020 #15 Posted March 30, 2020 Everyone talks about the decline in the price of cryptocurrencies due to the Corona virus, but there is a new report on Coingo that talks about the way this virus has affected since its inception on the price index. I advise everyone to read it, then we hope that this crisis will end and the price will rise until we continue to work with passion
