automatic Posted March 17, 2020 #1 Posted March 17, 2020 An advisory from top management of my agency, persuant with President Duterte's proclamation no.922 declaring enhance community quarantine though out the country. As of march 17 2020 there are 142 confirmed cases of the desease . out of 142 cases, 12 death were recorded. Strict home qurantine was implemented in all households effective 12 a.m. march 17, 2020 to 12 a.m. April, 2020 or until further announcement. I left the office at 1:00 p.m. today. went to buy foods and other important stuffs in the market. enjoining everybody to stay at home, follow rules and most importantly pray, pray to God for healing, safety, wholeness and totally virus free world.

A lot of businesses have been demanded to close, including chiropractors, skincare, hairdressers, cinemas, sports. Schools and kinder-gardens are closed. Cafes, restaurants and bars can only be open, if they secure a 1 meter space between guests. You can not travel to another county, with out a good reason, like work. Shopping malls have reduced opening hours, with exception for grocery and medicine. When entering the country, you will be placed in a 14 day mandatory quarantine (not isolation). It is strict, but necessary!
evet Posted March 17, 2020 #4 Posted March 17, 2020 Yes this is getting serious and most don't know how to prevent corona from spreading. If most knows about it then it should be able to prevent it. Some little information could come in handy, like preparing hot water and drinking hot water since corona can't stand the heat for a long time. If you did hand shake or had physical contact with others , apply alcohol to be sure since the virus stays for a while in the part of the body that it landed first. They symptoms for corona aren't unusual so one might think of it as just a normal sickness. Having cough, sore throat , colds, and fever. If one got this symptoms best is to stay at home and quarantine yourself since there are no cure even at hospitals. Just avoid cold things and be exposed to heat (hot water, turn off AC, etc.) until the virus dies.

jamesbond Posted March 23, 2020 #8 Posted March 23, 2020 In India as I can see in my city, many people are not taking it seriously, just thinking it will not affect them since they have not come from a foreign trip or else and no one in their neighborhood either. So far there is one confirmed case in my city, but hundreds were quarantined in their homes as suspects and lockdown is already implemented in the whole state. Many people are more concerned about the asteroid which is gonna pass the earth in April, they think that asteroid is gonna end the world. Wish people get more serious and stay at home as much as possible and yeah pray for everyone. Still don't know how it affects to animal in our household, can they spread it too?
cryptofly Posted March 23, 2020 #9 Posted March 23, 2020 LATAM will follow same steps, but right now is like we are living in a different world, somehow citizens are not paying attention to the main problems in the European countries, and president and governors are not preparing for the big problem coming. Politicians concerns are about how they will get the most of the virus. Nothing changes in countries like this. Good luck and learn from other countries.
