Thepug Posted March 21, 2020 #1 Posted March 21, 2020 I have looked into the current fantasy premier league matches and there I have some confusion over how the English premier league is going to work for the rest of the year. Will matches be moved into 2 matches per week per team? If so, will this be benefiting new players that will be able to use a wildcard and benefit from this? For example, someone joins in and uses a wildcard, which many older players don’t have. They will most likely get top 10 due to the double points, making the league less competitive for the rewards. If anyone knows how the rest of the year is going to work, I would like to know what you know/predict will happen.

So we all can just wait and see. Yeah I guess that we will have to wait. I think that it is important that health comes before anything first. So if we have to wait a couple of months to wait until the virus clears up, then that just has to be done
Wassouf Posted March 31, 2020 #3 Posted March 31, 2020 The fate of the English Premier League, or even all European leagues, cannot be predicted. There are several possibilities open, either that the title is awarded to Liverpool or the league is canceled and the ups and downs are canceled, nothing is settled until now. For Fantasy, I suspect that this season has ended.
nuuuitsjdragon Posted March 31, 2020 #4 Posted March 31, 2020 Regardless of the league, I have not observed similar issues in the past and am lacking experience to know what is going to happen to FPL/EPL. If I had to give a guess... this current lockdown period would easily last till July/August. Things will pick up slowly but I am mostly confident they’ll always return over time.
