Snike Posted December 15, 2017 #1 Posted December 15, 2017 As the popularity of bitcoin rises I think it's not to rare that your brother may be interested in bitcoin or even your parents. So I'm interested in knowing if anyone in your closer family knows about bitcoin and if you'ld try to get your family into bitcoin? Have a great evening everyone!
barbaris Posted December 15, 2017 #2 Posted December 15, 2017 Against the background of the growth of bitcoin, all relatives already know. But many people are distrustful.

It is about bitkoin know from me and from the news where they say that bitkoin broke a new record But they do not trust her as cash.
barbaris Posted December 15, 2017 #5 Posted December 15, 2017 The older generation does not trust bitcoin, but the youth strive to get it.

I never thought of explaining bitcoin to my parents because I don't think they'd get it. I don't think my brother would either. My sister probably would, but I'd think it was too risky, in case she invested and lost money and then I'd feel guilty. Maybe my family will know about it when I get rich, and I will treat them to some coins Thats true. I'ld feel guilty if I would put my siblings in that kind of situation... But maybe she'ld get rich from it and you can have your percentage

But yeah my friends supported me a lot & we are all reaping the rewards today

My brother most of the time sees me when I am enraged with anger cause I busted another 10$ on stake so he's more sceptical about stake

testB Posted December 16, 2017 #14 Posted December 16, 2017 Most everyone not living like a hermit should have heard of it by now. Even so, the number of people that have traded in it still remain small. It's hard to miss with the media talking about it these days.
born2win Posted December 16, 2017 #15 Posted December 16, 2017 Only me knows bitcoin in our house but definitely in the future they will know these but some of my friends knows i'm doing bitcoin because i teach them.
skillex Posted December 16, 2017 #16 Posted December 16, 2017 I am guessing by mid 2018 or end of 2018 about 60-80% population of the world will finally recognize and embrace bitcoin They governments cannot anymore hide the fact that this cryptocurrencies fame or dominance is governing now.
Sraboni Posted December 16, 2017 #17 Posted December 16, 2017 All of my family member and their friends also know about bitcoin nowadays

I never wanted my family to know because I thought my parents may not understand and my siblings may risk their money. Even if I tell, maybe after I win at least 1 btc without deposit

ktfor57 Posted December 16, 2017 #24 Posted December 16, 2017 2 hours ago, SuddenlyBroke said: That's a very cool I didn't even think of that. That's very cool your friend helped you out, it's cool to share knowledge I think, and skills. I'm in a similar situation, about a year ago I had no idea what crypto's were, but I learnt a lot when I asked a friend to explain the basics to me, when someone asked to pay me in bitcoin. It's good have friends you can ask to help you understand things for sure. Not so sure I agree with this. I could still ask a tonne of people family/friend about bitcoin and a very small percentage will know. I think it's one of those things that even when it's on the news, people just tune out if they don't really understand what it means. I think a lot relies on what kind of people you network with though, a lot of my family aren't really into tech, and maybe only half my friends are, so I guess that influences my opinion! That's very cool. Sounds like you have a very smart family! I want to know how you made 1BTC without a deposit?!! Tell me this trick! Haha i can relate to this, it's the same with poker players that play professional, I had a go at playing semi-pro once, and they always just thought poker was gambling. It's hard to explain to non poker players, that poker is not gambling if you play enough volume and are a winning player in the long run! @SuddenlyBroke I said maybe after I make 1 BTC without deposit I will let my family know. I had last won approximately upto 0.02 and busted. But this time I wish I win upto 1 btc or more. Then I will tell all about the winning 1 btc journey and stats too. Good luck
idonteatshit Posted December 16, 2017 #25 Posted December 16, 2017 my parents is against they say that bitcoin is a bubble and fake.
