Is bitcoin over rated??

I keep on trying to understand why bitcoin is such a big deal, there are thousands of other alternative other than that of bitcoin.

if you look at the hundreds of altcoins that there are so many of them they , most of the beat bitcoin hands down and so thats why am asking why bitcoin.

First of all we must look at why bitcoin was made, 

1. To decentralize currency,

2. To remove control

3. Fast means of transactions as compared to swift,

you look at all this and you realize , bitcoin is truly over rated and it needs some lessons, when you look at a coin as ripple, its one of the best and it even  making heads with companies such as money gram, progress people and so its important for bitcoin to think of a very high change, the reason why I say its over rated is because, there are simply other coins that are far much better than bitcoin.

Hello, I think Bitcoin is not rated over, the price of Bitcoin does rise occasionally, because Bitcoin is a good currency, if you know anything about it then share.

I think bitcoin is a good and famous crypto currency and in my opinion not any other currencies cross the bitcoin. So many alt coins but every coin not accept every exchange. But bitcoin accept every exchange.

Because Bitcoin is the oldest, most popular, and stable of these currencies, so I think it will remain the best cryptocurrency at the top of the crypto hierarchy.
