I used the MoonLitecoin faucet for months : http://moonliteco.in/?ref=3ee5745927d0 (ref link). Non-ref : http://moonliteco.in Now I mostly use the mining option at Coinpot : https://coinpot.co
suresh Posted December 18, 2017 Author #5 Posted December 18, 2017 @Kargai Ill join moonlite under you, but how you are mining using coinpot? Does is it online mining or do we need to download anything to install and run it?

You just have to register at https://coinpot.co, than go to "Litecoin" in the left sidebar (or any other crypto you wanna mine) and than clic on the button "Mine Litecoin" (on the right) like this : You'll open the mining page where you choose the number of threads you want to allow and the CPU usage. It will depend on the computer you have but you can start with a medium usage and 4 threads. If it's not slowing down your computer try to increase it but I will not recommend more than High CPU Usage and 6 threads to preserve your components. Thanks for registering under my affiliate on MoonLitecoin
suresh Posted December 18, 2017 Author #7 Posted December 18, 2017 Hi Thanks for explanation, I am already in that moonlitecoin faucet, however i joined dash from your referral link, check it whether i am exists or not. How much you are making by mining of litecoin per day? Is it good to mine? as we see free internet and CPU usage.
Upsilon Posted December 18, 2017 #8 Posted December 18, 2017 If you want some LTC to play around with then you can go the faucet route. Wouldn't recommend it however since most faucets are shit lmao. Faucets are for owner's profit, not yours
suresh Posted December 19, 2017 Author #9 Posted December 19, 2017 @Kargai Today I started to mine, but it is very low amount, do you think doing like this can be profitable or any other method or can we do same thing in BTC? Bitcoin rate is high so we can get atleast some money from mining.

I mine in slow usage because i mine already ETN and Burstcoin on my PC but i manage to mine 0.1 LTC a month which is not that bad at the current price. To make some full coin you can try to mine Dogecoin. It's a cheap coin but who know, if one day the coin go to 1$ only it can be profitable
suresh Posted December 20, 2017 Author #11 Posted December 20, 2017 @Kargai Thanks for the information will look later if I get more time.. I tried with 8 Threads, however it only made few lithoshis. Have you ever tried embeded code placing in the site? I ask that do you mine whole the day or just few hours when you are online?

Never tried the embedded code, but I will soon I'm mining almost 24/7, just put it on pause when I do some other things who demand lot of CPU power.

It's javascript mining on the browser using CPU which is inefficient af I recommend mining it directly from joining a pool or something like that, atleast you will make a decent amount using CGminer or something
lucas alfaia Posted December 21, 2017 #14 Posted December 21, 2017 I'll try to do this, you know how long it will be for free. Let's enjoy.

Can you let me know how to join pool and where to join it. I am looking to get a new PC soon for mining something.

I am hoping to make some decent money from mining as people are not paying much in bounties or services. Can you suggest some good hardware that is best suitable, but I believe Ant miner might be the best.
Moderator maverick528 Posted December 22, 2017 Moderator #17 Posted December 22, 2017 LTC uses the scrypt algorithm, so for mining it you need a scrypt mining machine. You can also use a good graphic card to mine, but it is not worth it, maybe only a bit if you have free electricity, but since the LTC market is filled with ASIC machines you can not compete with that, you will produce very few LTC.... I bought long time ago a pair of USB mining sticks for scrypt on eBay at around 20 bucks each, and I thought I would never get my money back, because LTC was at a very low price so even after mining for months I got only about 10 bucks in LTC, total. At that moment I sold the LTCs at $6 each, more or less, if I remember right. But now with the price rise I have about 0.25LTC left from mining, so at least I will recover what I paid, and a bit more, by selling now. Although I continue using them, the difficulty now is so big that this outdated miners that I have only produce about 3K litoshis each day (0.00003 LTC), not worth it.... Each USB stick hashes at 240 KHash max.
barbaris Posted December 22, 2017 #18 Posted December 22, 2017 If it is still relevant then here I found another faucet LTC https://cryptoplay.store
suresh Posted December 23, 2017 Author #19 Posted December 23, 2017 @maverick528 The price is very low for mining and we can get the same amount or better using Coinpot. I can pay the electricity fee, but it shows very low amount for miners. I heard it make good amount, however still looking to hear from miners. Your $10 is nothing for us as we see $10 is a day meal, but holding that $10 will make some profit on one day. You should have to get atleast 1 LTC per month, just think our time and money internet bills. @barbaris The link is getting error.
