Magdsolieman Posted May 15, 2020 #1 Posted May 15, 2020 Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse claimed in a new prediction that, only 1% of today's Crypto currencies will survive and 99% will likely go to zero. Behind of this hints he told that, among 3000 digital assets very few will be able to meet customer needs. He also stated, "Anytime there is a new market, there are a lot of people that run into that market and try to show that they can solve a problem, they can deliver a customer need." bielgostozin Posted May 15, 2020 #2 Posted May 15, 2020 It will be? I think cryptocurrencies have not reached zero.
galingkopota Posted May 16, 2020 #4 Posted May 16, 2020 Yes it possible. Lots of cryptocurrency is useless. Some use it as pump and dump and lots of scamcoins. Only those coins that has value will survive in longterm. No demand= useless coins.
earnfromcoin Posted May 16, 2020 #5 Posted May 16, 2020 Excepting few crypto assets all of them are just craps . So few will stay rest all while fall like dust.
krishatnet Posted May 17, 2020 #6 Posted May 17, 2020 There are many scrap coins coming to market from IPO. Most of them are just to loot money from public. Most of coins will becomes zero and treated as scrap.
mhayjhai Posted May 17, 2020 #7 Posted May 17, 2020 this in no good that was no good..it shouldnt be.
ozcelik06 Posted May 17, 2020 #8 Posted May 17, 2020 I expect many to fall to zero. The main coins will maintain their value. Btc, eth, ltc etc.
Diamond1 Posted May 22, 2020 #9 Posted May 22, 2020 True, many cryptocurrency will fail with time especially when world government bodies begin to fight against it. One odf the way crypto currency can stand the taste of time is when it's transaction can be tracked by the government.
Aponix Posted May 22, 2020 #11 Posted May 22, 2020 There has always been speculation with that possibility, but the probability is very low that it will happen, because as long as there is supply and demand, the price of cryptos will stay in motion, in terms of which currencies survive in time, I think that the most used will be those that are alive
Kolyasss1 Posted May 22, 2020 #12 Posted May 22, 2020 I don’t think so, because cryptocurrency is the new currency in the world. They make good money. I myself have repeatedly earned my penny on cryptocurrencies. These are ETH and Bitcoin.
9900x Posted May 22, 2020 #13 Posted May 22, 2020 I don't think so every crypto currency can't be 0 as long as they are listed on exchanges to trade .
Dena Topik Posted May 27, 2020 #15 Posted May 27, 2020 I do not think that this time the prediction will happen because the cryptocurrencies are designed in a way that avoids mistakes of previous times, but now it is difficult to determine it accurately
mahligai Posted May 28, 2020 #16 Posted May 28, 2020 coronavirus: i'mma change this man's whole career
Rille07 Posted May 28, 2020 #17 Posted May 28, 2020 I think most crypto coins will be worth a lot in the near future, due to it's flexibility to send, receive and to pay with.
fml Posted June 1, 2020 #18 Posted June 1, 2020 in a similar manner, the universe will also reach thermodynamic equilibrium at some point. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heat_death_of_the_universe the question, that remains is, when that will happen and if this will still be relevant then at all to any of us now, or even any humans at all

BrolySSJ Posted June 26, 2020 #20 Posted June 26, 2020 I think that there is a lot of truth to this notion that most of the crypto will become worthless after a while. If you look at how many different crypto there is out there and how many of these crypto is being introduced on a daily basis it is impossible for there to be a good market for all of them and i think that as a human tendency we will tend to flock towards the well establish crypto coins, and these would be bitcoin and so on therefore moving away from smaller coins. AS a result i think that most coins will become dead coins, and it could be as much as 99% of the current coins.
deluxy88 Posted June 26, 2020 #22 Posted June 26, 2020 it will not extinct as long as the crypto in one way or another carries a value
TheGreenTree Posted June 26, 2020 #23 Posted June 26, 2020 That's highly probable. Once the volatile phase of crypto passes, only few cryptos would be left.
snowysky Posted July 4, 2020 #24 Posted July 4, 2020 Agree with him, especially with ripple and others with questionable use cases.
Raikage Posted July 5, 2020 #25 Posted July 5, 2020 As long as there is someone using, owning, holding the currency..it would not go down to zero
