Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse claimed in a new prediction that, only 1% of today's Crypto currencies will survive and 99% will likely go to zero. Behind of this hints he told that, among 3000 digital assets very few will be able to meet customer needs. He also stated, "Anytime there is a new market, there are a lot of people that run into that market and try to show that they can solve a problem, they can deliver a customer need."

What do your mind thinks about this prediction? Will it really happen?

Yes it possible. Lots of cryptocurrency is useless. Some use it as pump and dump and lots of scamcoins. Only those coins that has value will survive in longterm. No demand= useless coins.

True, many cryptocurrency will fail with time especially when world government bodies begin to fight against it. One odf the way crypto currency can stand the taste of time is when it's transaction can be tracked by the government.

There has always been speculation with that possibility, but the probability is very low that it will happen, because as long as there is supply and demand, the price of cryptos will stay in motion, in terms of which currencies survive in time, I think that the most used will be those that are alive

I don’t think so, because cryptocurrency is the new currency in the world. They make good money. I myself have repeatedly earned my penny on cryptocurrencies. These are ETH and Bitcoin.

I do not think that this time the prediction will happen because the cryptocurrencies are designed in a way that avoids mistakes of previous times, but now it is difficult to determine it accurately

I think that there is  a lot of truth to this notion that most of the crypto will become worthless after a while. If you look at how many different crypto there is out there and how many of these crypto is being introduced on a daily basis it is impossible for there to be a good market for all of them and i think that as a human tendency we will tend to flock towards the well establish crypto coins, and these would be bitcoin and so on therefore moving away from smaller coins. AS a result i think that most coins will become dead coins, and it could be as much as 99% of the current coins.
