RoyalSteeze Posted July 5, 2020 #26 Posted July 5, 2020 I doubt this will happen, not anytime during our lifetime I believe this could be some kind of a scare tactic to persuade people away from crypto, I mean its effective on so many platforms and great in so many ways, I don't see this as a possibility.

So I wouldn't actually be surprised if in the near future a lot of coins follow them and die too. I think it is heavily depending on how active devs actually keep a coin going and if the market stays interested in it. Once devs jump of the ship and once the market doesn't care about a coin anymore, there is basically no chance for it to survive any longer.
