I've been searching the web to find something new or something, and I came up searching this interesting article from marketwatch.com, they are talking about the next bitcoin.

They study the team/project behind it. "Where the coin came from, the overall performance of the coin this year, how useful the coin is?, they look at the of the alt-coin for how are far are they, they also look at the latest market evaluation and see if the coin is correctly priced. "

Here is there list of 7 Cryptocurrencies to watch in 2018

1.) Litecoin (LTC)

Creator - Charlie Lee, former google employee and now a notable and famous star in the Cryptocurrency world. Litecoin was created back in 2011.

• Market cap, as of December 19, 2017: $19.53 billion
• Performance as of December 19, 2017: +9,080%

2.) Monero (XMR)

Creator - Like Bitcoin, Monero (XMR) is anonymous. 15.5 million Monero (XMR) in circulation, unlike LTC and BTC, XMR don't have a fixed supply of coin.

• Market cap, as of December 19, 2017:  $5.9 billion
• Performance as of December 19, 2017: +3,033%

3.) Neo 

Creator - Da Hongfei from China w/ co-founder Erik Zhang, NEO formerly knowed as "Antshares.", NEO was around the crypto world since 2014.

• Market cap, as of December 19, 2017:  $5.01 billion
• Performance as of December 19, 2017:  +69,219%

4.) Cardano (Ada) 

Creator - Developer from Blockchain (IOHK), 26 billion in circulation from 45 billion  calculating supply. "IOHK - Input Output Hong Kong"

• Market cap, as of December 19, 2017:  $13.49 billion
• Performance as of December 19, 2017:  +2,059% (Started to trade in October)

5.) Ripple (XRP)

Creators - Ryan Fugger(WEB Dev.), Chris Larsen(entrepreneur), Jed McCaleb(Programmer). 38.7 billion XRP in circulation from 100 billion total XRP supply.

• Market cap, as of December 19, 2017:  $29.66 billion
• Performance as of December 19, 2017: +12,606%

6.) Iota (MIOTA)

Creator - Team of mathematicians, developers and entrepreneurs, "Dr. Serguei Popov/Dominik Schiener/Sergey Ivancheglo/David Sønstebø". 2.8 billion in circulation.

• Market cap, as of December 19, 2017:  $11.796 billion 
• Performance as of December 19, 2017:  +564% (Started to trade in June)

7.) Bitcoin Cash

Creator - Was created by a group of people who is responsible of a big forked early August of 2017, 16.8 million in circulation, from 21 million total bitcoin cash supply.

• Market cap, as of December 19, 2017:  $37.08 billion
• Performance as of December 19, 2017:  +488% (Started to trade in July)

I have invested some on the list but only few amount. I just trade on bitcoin cash to earn some with it's pump and dump scheme. Maybe Ripple, Monero and ltc will sky rocket in 2018 but if you love for a long term hold and love to risk. I will go with ripple and cardano. Anyway year of 2017 is awesome for the crypto community and i hope it will sustain in 2018

Hello my friend @Ymerej , good pieces of information.  I have got a big faith in NEO and XRP. I bought some XRP on march. I'm already in good profit. But want to hold it a little more. I've a plan to sell my XRP in March,2018.

Let see how much profit I can bag in..

Agreed on all of the lists. Those are coins I have my eyes locked on.. Too bad, almost all of those  coins have high prices already  

Also, I'm surprised they didn't include ethereum.

My bet is on BCH(Bitcoin Cash) , As the difficulty arises the transaction time will tend to increase and the fees too , Also as time passes the the amount of bitcoins to be mined decreases the only reward for minning  would be the transaction fees ! Which would result in miners to switch to BCH from BTC , Due to higher block rewards . As the time passes and miners decrease ,the transaction time would also increase and no one likes hours for one transaction to be processed so people will sell BTC and move to a more similar currency which is BCH , so i really think BCH is the future !

It's a "safe" list tho, they don't take too much risk on it. Almost 100% sure that all of them will grow from 3x to 10x.

Already invested in Cardano and Ripple and I plan to do the same in Litecoin (waiting a little drop) and IOTA, NEO.

That's a solid explanation indeed.. Your writing forced me to think twice about not investing in BCH..

LTC and BCH definitely have the potential to gain such powers as BTC. If you think about it. BTC was at a few thousand dollars in january 2017 and BCH will be at a few thousand dollars in january 2018 too. So we'll see what we can get out of it

These currencies can be trusted, but today I read that Charlie Lee had kind of sold all his LTC. I do not know how this will affect the LTC, but there is a certain alarm.

I'm pretty surprised they didnt include ETH and instead included ADA which is much less known. Also Ripple is pretty cheap if you want to invest btw

I think ETH should be there as well, they have good stuff in testing and in the works. I think I like it better than LTC or XRP long term.

BTC was actually still under 1k around January 2017, and BCH is currently above 3k. This market moves crazy fast.
