John McAfee = The Jesus of crypto?

This guy has been a super influencer in the crypto world..

No matter what he says, it will influence / affect the crypto world. Example, Verge (XVG) is now x10+ since his tweet for about a week ago, could it be a fluke? I don't think so..

Universa, whom he advised, has raised over $28m! and there are plenty more of his "super tweets"..

Could this be a coincidence alone?? you decide.

I have read also about the successful crypto price prediction of this man in the web, and all I can tell maybe its due to his expertise in making software and experienced in this kind of field that lead his predictions hit the balls

I think every big person who is known to be successful in a business has some kind of influence on other people. It's the same with that JP Morgan guy... All they say influences other smaller investors. I personally dont trust these kind of people tho... I like to make my own test and I only trust myself and close friends

Just warning you...  I wouldn't trust every site on the web. Not saying that is fake news but it could be.

I totaly agree with snike, if you look at social media like facebook and tweeter, if someone notable in the crypto world will post/tweet a topic about a new coin or something, most of hes/her follower will try it, and thats how I think will increase the value of the investment because of the increasing demands from investors. But I really dont trust it, some study says 90% of social media post talking about investment/ICO/Bitcoin/Mining/freemoney/ect.ect.ect, are mostly fake or a scam.

Reading this makes me sad I sold all of my ETN for tokugawa.. I hope I didnt made a wrong decision

The words of any influential person have a very strong influence on the behavior of the currency or the crypto currency. Whether it's the head of state or a prominent financial figure.

Yes, mcafee is a very influential person. I've seen it many times, if he tweeted about any coin, the coin will have a significant changes in the future

He's definitely influencal, people will follow what he say blindly. But that doesn't mean he'll be right on the long term. People can buy a coin following his advises but after a while if the coin don't work like he said, they will sell.

But at the same time he don't take too many risks when he claim that ETN or Digybite will rise, the coins are so cheap ... but I admit he took a pretty big risk when he claimed he will eat his own dick if BTC is not at 1 million in 2020 ^^

John McAfee obviously an influential person, and if his previous prediction made a positive impact on public then this one will also make a positive impact, even much big impact. It's better to stick with Mr McAfee's prediction..

Yeah it's more like "X famous person said this will rise" so whether or not if it was going to rise or nah people will start buying the coin and coin will rise BECAUSE of the tweet or the person X saying it will rise rather than the other way around

I think it's to do with the influence they have, rather than their ability to make predictions here. They also have the assets and can partner with other rich to drive the market one way or another.

For me since theres no really man who is like Jesus that is all perfect and can predict everything, John McAfee for me was just another lucky man to predict closely the coin's price just like the famous Nostradamus to pedict the happenings in the world.

Lol its literally a different type of promotion stuff. If you are an influential person and you say something there may be people who will eventually follow it . or just think about it .If he said electroneum would go up , some will think about it , some will buy little of it .In this case i think the "some" is a large number of followers . Which when buy etn , that will result in price increase . This can be considered a good strategy for him to make huge profits over time. He probably buys the currency in huge amount gives the crypto a little push then tweets , and he is done , as soon as he tweets people see that the price increased , this results in more people buying and more price increasing and at thy end mcaffe takes thy cake !

Starting tomorrow I'll take it seriously of any coin he gonna tweet about.. It's like super easy profit if you are fast.

It's hard to say but, CRYPTO CURRENCY prices (in my humble opinion) can be really speculated through some posts/news about next projects, if they are good or bad..
Good news make the price increase, bad news make the price decrease

He seems like a bit of a joke honestly. I'm sure he's made a killing off what he's doing however the value of a coin/asset shouldn't be determined off a tweet. He might have some reasoning behind it but if that's what it takes for those insane gains it's a bit odd.
