From WIki, John David McAfee is a British-American computer programmer and businessman. He founded the software company McAfee Associates in 1987 and ran it until 1994. From his Verified Twitter Account, he tweeted this: The Future of Electroneum used to seem bright, I used to think it would turn out to be a scam. But from the looks of things, I'm investing in this coin. 1000 ETN coins for sure, who's with me?

Yeh i think the coin is good not only because it is the first british coin and i am british but the marketing is good and it looks like the guys over there are putting in some real hard work, I actually bought some bitcoin cash and electroneum today. I can't wait to see what happens next.

testB Posted December 21, 2017 #7 Posted December 21, 2017 Did this cause the huge pump 5 hours earlier? I'm still holding back on getting in this one. It might turn out to be another missed opportunity, but I've done enough bad trades that I've became wary of buying at highs.

Before john mcafee tweeted that, ETN was at -5%, but when he tweeted that, in the next 1 hour ETN became +54% lol! Trully influential.

I'm using bittrex and Cryptopia at the moment. Both are awesome site.. But someone in here said that hitbtc has a fixed 85k fees for bitcoin withdrawal (which is cheaper than cryptopia and others).. All are good, you can decide it yourself.

Just to mention one thing : McAfee can pump/dump coin by what he said but don't believe too much on him. I read some answer he gave to people after his tweet and the guy didn't even know where to buy ETN or how to do it. Basically I believe he's paid to give those kind of announcements.
