Give us the choice between dark and light forum background

As mister Eddie stated on stream don't expect dark theme on forum to come back soon.

I use "Dark Reader" extension for Chrome to switch every site to dark.

I got told the dark theme will be back sooner or later, might just take a while. I totally would like a light or dark theme as options way better though, always good to give your users an option to adjust the experience the way they want ^^

oh  yes i agree. there should be a switch option to dark mode coz we dont have same preferences. this change to white appearance is so bright to the eyes..

You wont ever be able to have both, there's too many things that aren't customize-able. For example the widgets on the sidebar cant be changed per theme, same with the promotion countdown clock and a few other things.

You have to choose light or dark, not both.

Personally, I find the light background better because I find it easier to read black letters on a light background than to read white letters in dark mode.
