Administrator Edward Posted December 25, 2017 Administrator #1 Posted December 25, 2017 I'm sure we are all aware of the unfortunate situation the Bitcoin network is in regarding fees. How has this affected your Stake experience? How are you dealing with it & how would you like us to improve. We're working on some complete recodes of our Bitcoin wallet to give users some more flexibility with withdrawals & their chosen fees. With that said I'm sorry for any inconvenience.
eldrindcm Posted December 25, 2017 #2 Posted December 25, 2017 Nice to hear you're already working on the most suggested "choose your own fee". Transacting with 20k sats takes some time to have a confirmation, and I see some users complaining about it. Thank you for making our Stake journey as great as possible. Good job!

I agree also to put in withdrawal the options for player to choose what type of fee did he likes either the low minimum fee or the slowest one, the medium one which is just fair and the high fee which is just instant.
rack001 Posted December 25, 2017 #4 Posted December 25, 2017 It would be really nice to see custom fees on stake . It would be great to send transaction using custom fees as 20k fees is less and transactions take a long time , using custom fees we will be able to send tx with fees according to the network at that time .
wry Posted December 25, 2017 #5 Posted December 25, 2017 The congestion on the bitcoin network and fees are a real problem for Bitcoin. Historically Stake's fee for withdrawing has been very reasonable. I think you are on the right track with "choose your own fee". However, it also may make sense to have one of those options be to "batch my withdrawal" and have them go out every hour or so (I don't know how many withdrawals Stake does per day). I would also encourage you to consider adding one or two alt coins. If even Bitpay is adding them for merchant payments and card loads, that suggests their time (or use case!) has come. Litecoin could be a good one, both Bitvest and Bitdice use it, it's increasingly popular on Bitvest. Bitpay is adding Bitcoin Cash, not sure how jazzed you would be about that, but it's also an option. Regardless, thanks for being open to suggestions.
xtinepink Posted December 25, 2017 #6 Posted December 25, 2017 Thank you for bringing this up. It’s indeed a big help for putting an option for withdrawal. And we are very much excited to see altcoins on stake soon. ???
barbaris Posted December 25, 2017 #7 Posted December 25, 2017 I think that in the near future the issue with the network of bitcoins will be resolved and everything will return to its places. The waiting time is not so terrible. It would not be bad to see the options for choosing a withdrawl fees, let's say 10k - slow / 30k - average / 50k - quickly, like that.
Snike Posted December 26, 2017 #8 Posted December 26, 2017 it would be awesome if stake's users could put a custom fee on there and it would be cool if stake would have like a bank feature. Where you can put your money and not play with it. like a own wallet just easier (bank accounts dont work anymore without depoing on it)
kurian Posted December 26, 2017 #9 Posted December 26, 2017 As we discussed this in primedice forum.. Most of the members are concerned about fees. Adding altcoins is a better option to solve this problem..
