Administrator Edward Posted December 25, 2017 Administrator #1 Posted December 25, 2017 Bitcoin cash has been everywhere lately. What's your personal thoughts on it. It feels like there is a very distinct two sides to the debate. As much as I've always been against alt coins, Bitcoin Cash is something I feel is a very viable solution for payments. The network is backed by some good developers and as much as Roger Ver is seen in a negative light, he's a very educated decision maker (With & without financial incentive in mind). Where do you stand and what's your thoughts?
wilberthh Posted December 25, 2017 #2 Posted December 25, 2017 Personally I think bitcoincash is an awesome altcoin. The price rising up steadily and is now ranked 3 on coinmarketcap. Plus it has low total supply! But, I think bitcoincash won't be able to replace bitcoin or ethereum though.
RGBKey Posted December 25, 2017 #3 Posted December 25, 2017 I don't like it at all. In my opinion there are some bad people behind it with some less than savory ideas for the whole crypto world.
Quyenoccho Posted December 25, 2017 #4 Posted December 25, 2017 bitcoincash just pumped somedays ago. highest was over 4k $ /1 bch. i was thinking bch will replace btc but its impossible.
testB Posted December 25, 2017 #5 Posted December 25, 2017 I got to say the opponents been very loud, and it unfortunately influenced my decision to sell when it was as low as 300. Right now, bch is the more usable coin. If we were in vacuum with just the two, it would be the obvious choice for me. The fees make btc unusable for anyone that's not dealing with large numbers, and one should remember that most commercial activities deal with smaller payments. In reality there would be many other options, but this is a market where most of us are trying to chase quick profits, and what we pick is more based on what might pump than what makes sense in the long run. 1 hour ago, RGBKey said: I don't like it at all. Locking ourselves to any particular system could be picking some of our future rulers.
skillex Posted December 25, 2017 #6 Posted December 25, 2017 For me, I am rooting much for Bitcoin Cash than this Bitcoin, BCH performance has been so good lately since it was released during Bitcoin segwit by blocked and so far successfull on its launched and been used and invested by many investors. Bitcoin so far I think is reaching its near end.

Where do you stand and what's your thoughts? Bitcoin Cash have more chances to be used as a day to day currency than BTC who already struggle actually (imagine with billions of users). BCH will probably be at the actual price of BTC in the next 2 years. For me : storage very long term (10 years) = BTC. And BCH for the short-mid term and for really using it to buy/sell stuff (but not before some months)
Moderator maverick528 Posted December 25, 2017 Moderator #8 Posted December 25, 2017 In the beggining, nearly all the comments about BCH were negative. Even here in Stake I listened carefully the comments of every user, and nobody said it would have any future. And at first, it happened exactly what everybody predicted, after nearly all people sold the BCHs they had from the fork , the price went down, ppl lost interest, and it looked like it would die and that nobody would use it. And I sold at about 300 dollars. Now BCH looks like having a bright future, as a consequence of all that is happening to BTC: too high fees, too high price, blockchain always clogged, hundreds of thousands of transactions pending.... I can see BCH in the near future easily climbing to 1/3 BTC for each BCH, or even peaking at 1/2 BTC for each BCH. There are lots of ALT coins out there, but this is gaining support fast, because for example it uses the same mining equipment as BTC, so miners can switch easily to BCH, and they are doing more and more, because the difficulty in BTC is much greater than BCH. That also means transactions will be processed faster, with more miners giving support.

wowa24 Posted December 25, 2017 #10 Posted December 25, 2017 He has no future ..... this is not the first, but not the last version of bitcoin ..... I would pay attention to such crypto-currencies as Ripple syscoin well and Ethereum
Grifter Posted December 25, 2017 #11 Posted December 25, 2017 Bitcoin Cash is good also, but if only they allows to have this newly feature called the smart contracts, then why not, Bitcoin Cash should be on top of the mainstream...
rack001 Posted December 25, 2017 #12 Posted December 25, 2017 I am in full support of bitcoin Cash till now ! Its going god till now , have approx 10% minning power than that of btc and also the price is not negligible . I think soon people will move towards Bitcoin cash from bitcoin , and the minning power will also increase gradually , as this happens BTC would get worse than it is right now . More Tx fees and lots of tx time . This will lower the price of btc and people will move their money to BCH , and BCH will go up !
bUZz Posted December 25, 2017 #13 Posted December 25, 2017 Personally i think you should integrate Bitcoin Cash into Stake, because the coin itself is growing fast.
barbaris Posted December 25, 2017 #14 Posted December 25, 2017 I do not trust this coin as well as those that were released after the forks. For me, BTC is the best coin, although with certain problems.
Franchico03 Posted December 25, 2017 #15 Posted December 25, 2017 I think the price is really good, also is inscreasing and is on the top 3 more valuable, but Im not sure if will have the same "support" at all as BTC Best wishes, Merry XMAS
gougou Posted December 25, 2017 #16 Posted December 25, 2017 My opinion is that Bitcoin Cash is used only to make the Bitcoin price up and down so they grow together.Of course Bitcoin Cash will never catch the Bitcoin's price but it will be used to make the price higher.
wry Posted December 25, 2017 #17 Posted December 25, 2017 Bitcoin Cash has defied the early doubters and emerged as a really credible alt coin. The fact that Coinbase (and GDAX) trade it and that it will be the first alt coin that BitPay adds for merchant payments and card loads says a lot. I didn't like the way it was introduced, and like all coins it had some early issues, but it is hard to argue with its success and adoption today. I basically view it as a competitor to Lite Coin which has also seen its use and value increase as the Bitcoin network has become more clogged and fees have risen so dramatically.

I couldnt agree more to what you've said, BCH is still has its growing in price potential since its the alternative or a sub-bitcoin being used as what resulted from previous fork argumentation by bitcoins block division.BCH is being preffered by many since its just have a low tx fee also.
Kargai Posted December 26, 2017 #19 Posted December 26, 2017 Same for me. I was first really doubtful about BCH but things changed. First BTC prove month after month that they are not able to deal with the problems they have. Maybe because they just can't. BTC is less and less the coin we will use in the future. BCH and LTC are the 2 best alternative right now. I mean they are the most well-known credible currencies. Both are more advanced than BTC, Litecoin is here since a very long time (right after BTC) and Bitcoin Cash will inherit the power of the name of Bitcoin, it's basically a Bitcoin V2. Maybe a new comer can take the throne but i believe in 2018 is safe enough to say that BCH/LTC will start to be as big as BTC was this year (at least 6 months ago). Both will probably double or triple their price, minimum.
