I think it is unconstitutional for caps to not be allowed in the chat, I should be allowed to express myself however I want. Whats next? banning gay people?

What have gay people to do with using Caps lol. The Stake chat is one of the most overcrowded online casino chats ever, imagine what would Caps do... let me give you a hint: *cough* spam *cough*

P.S. you can express yourself without Caps too.

No Way..

The use of caps as a sentence is universally regarded as being rude & that the poster is shouting to get his/her message across.

Perhaps one word in capitals to emphasise what the post means etc.

But, I think Stake have (in general) got this about right

What is the difference between letter size doing to deter spam? I see it as a way to suppress freedom of speech.  What are they gonna do next?

That is one school of thought, however given the nature of gambling, some shouting should be allowed.

Well the capitals associated to rude'ess and shouting is commonly accepted over internet. That kind of golden rule of the forums and chatrooms. It's like that in absolutely all the forum i know.

Then about the freedom. Lol what could I say about that. If you place your freedom in being able to write in caps whenever you want disregarding what others might feel about it, then maybe we don't have the same definition of freedom nor the same  way to use this precious freedom

I would just tell you to think about the fact that 1 you are free to join an online casino ( not everyone has this ) 2 you can also come here and say whatever you feel like about Caps or more generally about the site. You can even come here and tell the site is shit and their owners are completely stupid. And you won't be censored. And that my friend is the true freedom.

But I bet this post is probably following a joke, some fine 2nd degree humour ;-) 😂 at least I think if it is , it's definetly more funny !

Yeah this would be funny if they hadn't banned me from the chat without warning after asking a mod the reasoning the behind the rule

You are allowed to use strong words against teams and player after losing as rage but allowing caps will mean that people who don't use caps will be stupid and slowly everyone will start talking in caps. Will it be even worth it if everyone talks in caps?

I guess you can try appeal from the mute, you can find it in the forum, I'll post link later.

Now i understand better why you seemed so pissed by the restrictions regarding the caps

All Caps in a sentence is too much but I believe you should be allowed to use all caps for a word to emphasize your point. I thought the rule was use of caps lock or all caps is forbidden yet I have been instantly attacked by mods for capitalizing whole words or even the beginning of sentences and proper nouns (which is grammatically correct). They instantly pop up and say NO CAPS or watch the cap, or youve been warned or something to that effect. I have had this conversation with mods in chat on more than one occasion and said I don't use all caps as that is rude, but if i want to use some caps in a sentence for grammatical accuracy or to emphasize a specific word in a sentence I should be allowed without fear of being muted as it is not technically breaking any rule (or so i thought).

I would say the same , it seems like caps it used to release anger and to be like they are screaming in pain from the loss / win , 50/50 , when you have caps spam is kinda annoying and

I like to emphasis words like - "I just won Eddie's Lambo, LOL!" - or "Olivia Wilde just asked me out on a date, LMAO

This should of use should be ok IMO.

P.S. I am still waiting for both things to happen... :(

Caps lock it’s a lot of spam in the chat but i think that 5 minutes a day where users can do what they want (beg, caps, promote) and not be banned can be really cool
