How chat rain works now (According to Eddie)

OK. So their has been a lot of confusion as to exactly how the new rain system works. I was under the impression that as long as you have wagered at least $1000 USD in the previous 7 days from any point you were eligible for rain. On yesterday's live stream on Twitch Eddie said otherwise and explained how it does work.

Rather than try to explain it myself and argue whether i'm correct or not. It's just easier if you go watch the replay from Eddies live stream  (November 21st 2020). He explains how the rain system does work between exactly 54:00 and 56:00 minutes into the video. (I've done the work so you don't have to watch the whole stream.  Lol.  Just 2 minutes.)

(P.S.- I am not a fan of the system as it is explained the last 7 days would just be so much easier and less convoluted.)

Yea he is saying if your 1000 $ wager ends Friday then if you again start wagering for rain then you need to wager fresh $1000 again to start getting rains now your previous 6 days wager may not count. Am I right?

I am not a fan of the new rain system I know that.  I miss the days of logging in and having a surprise in my balance.   I’m very active in chat and always wager, but rarely catch anything worth catching

I think this system works to tryn to not get the rain in alt account or bot account, and that’s great... but if u wager 1k/week i think that 2cents rain it is not important for u but maybe can help other people who bet in less size

seems so.. but anyway the rains are usually extremly small. i dont think i ever took 1 dollar from them

I ran about 12-13 experiments, all at least 12 hours long.

The official rain rules (as I understand them) Are:

Wager at least $1000 in the seven days before the rain you are receiving or not receiving 

Be actively Wagering

Be actively Chatting

What I found during my experiments assuming the $1000 has been reached.

 

I ran 4 separate days for 12 hours Chatting but not wagering & rain (or my little share) was as normal and I was probably receiving approx 15-18% of the total number of rains (not total amount rained). This was quite good in my opinion.

 

I then ran 4-5  days for 12 hours per day, Wagering but not chatting.  With the exception of 1 time, I never received any rain  During these 4-5 days.

 

Next I did 4 x 12 hours chatting & wagering at the same time.

The longer I spent wagering, the less frequent I received. But (more importantly) when I stopped wagering, but kept on chatting, the rain frequency increased. When I stopped Chatting, but kept wagering, The rain frequency decreased.

I understand that due to the rather small sample size, these findings may fluctuate one way or the other & people should draw their own conclusions according to their own experiences.
