Yesterday the official Twitter account of Coinigy shared the information that some fake mails tried to scam users of their own platform and another great exchange: Bittrex. I know some of you are on one or both of those exchanges so i'm sharing it.

There is a copy of the mail you could eventually receive if you have an account to one of those websites :

Bittrex retweeted the information so they are on the same page about it.

The mails seem pretty legit, so make sure you don't fall for them and as always stay safe ;)

I've just received one of those lol. Luckily my anti-virus detects stuff like that easily and deletes it. Crazy how people find their ways into phising and stuff...

Thanks for the warning information kargai ;)

I might fall for their trap also if you havent posted it, coz they're email message is somehow really legit to read. If their letter is not listed in my spam folder of my email then I will really fall for their trap. What an expert and intelligent the hackers are nowadays. tsk. :(

I'm using bittrex for a long time, but yet I didn't receive any this type of emails(yet)

But thanks @Kargai for this security warning. Next time I'll be more careful if I receive any of this mail.

Great share.
