I've been using this exchange for about 4 days now. I put 0.011 btc there just to wait for JohnMcAfee's tweet (looking for some quick & ez money). I missed the earlier 3, but today I'm on time!

However, today I've got a bad experience in there (this is my first time purchasing coin there).

 

So I've been waiting for John's tweet for like 3 hours, then when he tweeted it, which was Tron (TRX), I immediately open up my hitbtc account and buy as much coin as I could.

Then as you know, if John tweets something, it will affect the coin for the better or worst. In this case, it's for the better and the price soars up for about 43% if I'm not mistaken. Then I thought, "holy crap, easy profit".

 

But then I checked my account, and I was like : "wtf?? I'm still at my capital with a little profit (0.011 + some dust), I should have quite a lot profit already

So I checked my trade order and I'm quite shocked. I was there on time when the price of tron was 230+ each, but in my trade order I purchased it with 290 sats for each coin. Like wtf how??!

 

@neoooo had literally same problem as me, feel you bro!

Not really a good exchange. Cryptopia is way way way better IMHO, it's just that the coins there aren't not as much as hitbtc's.

 

Anyone ever had same issue like me before? tell me your story

 

 

EDIT : Here is the proof.  Could it be because of slow internet??

But I bought another 1000 TRX just now LMAO!

Not really a good exchange. Cryptopia is way way way better IMHO, it's just that the coins there aren't not as much as hitbtc's.

This suggests that there is no easy money. Lateness of the system ?, but it's more like a deceit.

Site is super slow yes. However I can't make sure if it's only me or anyone else also having the same issue as me.

The site is kinda good looking to be honest, with the chatbox on the left site which makes it perfect.

If there is support, you should contact and find out what happened. Or just humble yourself.

Those coins are really speculation, this guy is really good and can make investors rich with his promotions....

I had the same issue  didn't realize that i bought it at 290 and it drop after hour to 230  i sold all my coins, withdraw all money out of this site and will never come back to it .

I lost about 35% of my money in 2 days, very bad trading experience to me actually.

So far using hitbtc exchange i found this just good and the delay of each orders of trades and transactions are just fine for me though. Maybe you just need next time wil to be advance when placing order coz sometimes they are dependent on congestions also of confirmed or maybe just by traffic. I feel sorry though for your loss though its really better that you just prefer cryptopia at that time.

Try buying in small batches. I am using hitbtc too. Seems really fine to me. Soon I will probably try binance too.(looks way more easy) 

what I don’t like about hitbtc is that they have this minimum purchases per coin. Like you should buy for 10,100 or 1000.

Good to know that! The site doesn't  look fine to me  

Price on market was very unstable, it says 220 on market buy when I tried to purchase, it was more than 220
