FlunkenR Posted January 5, 2021 #1 Posted January 5, 2021 Alright.... I have neven seen anything like this. So i had a 75USD roll on Blackjack last night. I decided to go all in on Blackjack. I had a 14 vs dealer's 10. As most of you know, this isn't exactly a dream scenario, so i have to hit it. I get that magic 7, and i therefore now have a 21, against dealers 10 with a hidden card yet to be revealed. We are playing 9 handed, and the rest of the table has now made their decisions. It is now time for the dealer to turn his hidden card. Dealer scans his hidden card, but it dose not say it has been scanned on his screen. He therefore contacts his supervisor, who tells him to turn over his hidden card, which could not be scanned. Any other card was scanned correctly. Now comes the absurd thing: Dealer shows a 4, making his hand a 14 in total. He chats with his supervisor who tells him, that the round would be cancelled AFTER they have just told him to first turn over his hidden card. I wonder what they would have done if dealer had another 10? There i am sitting with a 21 as im all in against a dealers 14 (dealer would have had busted, i could see on the next round) Now, i go on to complain about this and get a file number. I contact Stake today, which were cool and all, but they tell me that Evolution Games have only told them that a card were scanned incorrectly and therefore they can't do anything about it. This is were i start questioning if they have even seen the recording. But i get told that they don't receive the recording. They only got told that a card was scanned incorretly, which is also true. But where is the rest of the story? Why didn't they just reset the scores, and scanned all of the cards correctly? Im sure this has happend to a lot of you before when a dealer scans cards incorrectly. Why is it that dealer first had to turnover his 4, which could not be scanned, and then AFTERWARDS they decide to cancel. Couldn't they just have cancelled the game BEFORE the dealer turned over his 4 and then show the hidden card afterwards? Now. This isn't even the craziest thing. I contact Evolution Gaming on their livesupport, and ask them why it is that they did not just re-scan all of the cards. The "support" goes on to tell me that i will have to contact my casino about this. I therefore asks Stake, but how on earth would they know? They havent got told in the file nor are they the ones making the rules on the blackjack table. This goes on and on, and they keep telling me to contact Stake, but they can't see the recording nor did they receive the full story. Thanks to Ana from Stake for being a good sport throughout though. After they multiple times have told me that i have to contact Stake in regards to why things happened in they way they did, they finally gives me an "answer" And i quote: Quote Because of the game could not continue according to procedures and the hidden card needed to be shown to people and recorded. Cancelling the game without showing hidden card is impossible. The game should have been canceled as the mistake would impact the outcome Okay listen, fair enough if you have to show all cards because that the players needs to know which cards is out. But you could do this after you have cancelled. This is just too sketchy. Second, you are telling me that the outcome would have changed??? There were absolutely no player actions left. The only thing missing was the dealer drawing his cards. When i choose to confront them about what they mean about this, they refuse to answer me, let alone to talk with a manager. I have posted screens of convos with Evo in post. Absolutely absurd conversations. Why didn't they just re-scan all of the cards is basically the question here, which they have already answered. But their reasoning isn't true. Opinions? Am i out of line here? Or what do you guys think?
jungl3 Posted January 6, 2021 #2 Posted January 6, 2021 I'm sorry to hear you had to go through that. I've had similar bullshit with evo before, but never on my last hand all-in. The truth is that they don't care and will probably just ignore you if you keep asking about it. You could talk to the gambling commission or whichever authority controls their licence, make a complaint, but I think you're wasting your time. Adding a grain of sand to the mountain of complaints they will already have, that nothing is done about. The worst one I saw was Monopoly Live... the wheel hit 4 dice rolls (the best bonus), but the host apparently clicked "2" instead of the 4 dice rolls, and they cancelled it. The other day there was an issue with the Plinko bonus showing the wrong win multiplier on Crazy Time. They took hours to refund people and it was, of course, cancelled. I agree that they should have said they were cancelling it before flipping the card, but if you got the money back, it's not worth stressing about. With the amount of money they are making, they're probably not trying to rip you for $75.
FlunkenR Posted January 7, 2021 Author #3 Posted January 7, 2021 @jungl3 Yeah i know they are not trying to cheat for 75$.... It just seems soooo unfair, and they wont even tell you why. Have you read The chats? It is insane. But i can’t do anything about it at all. Sucks..
LoskiY Posted January 7, 2021 #4 Posted January 7, 2021 The story sounds sketchy indeed, they should have canceled the hand before showing the hidden card..
wry Posted January 7, 2021 #5 Posted January 7, 2021 Shenanigans like this is why I only play Blackjack on the Stake Originals, at least if you have an issue, you can complain to the site itself rather than a third party.

Kayleklarck Posted May 21, 2021 #7 Posted May 21, 2021 This is insane. Blackjack is a game based on skill, but a big part in the winning plays the random. This is why my favorite casino game is poker. In this game, the random doesn't play an important role and usually, it all depends on your skills in the game. I am playing on cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin because it is the most used, and during such games, the bets are very high, and there are no players that play on luck. We are all playing just on our skill and calculate every move to be sure that we will win. __________________ https://sportsbetter.io/bch-sports-betting/
iulianbutanu Posted May 21, 2021 #8 Posted May 21, 2021 Look at their robotic replies. This is so wrong.
Rusozarate Posted May 21, 2021 #9 Posted May 21, 2021 Wow, never heard about this, and I play a lot of Blackjack. I'm sorry you had to go through this, and I understand your frustration. What a shady move tho.
