henkster Posted January 17, 2021 #1 Posted January 17, 2021 I have seen many players in chat saying extremely offensive things, but tonight I encountered a user who spewed lots of hate speech, at myself and my partner. It wasn't until he explicitly called me a "faggot" and I asked how he can do that, that a mute was imposed. I know other casinos in the online gaming business have a 0 tolerance policy when it comes to hate speech, I think Stake needs to implement a policy that is similar where players get one warning and if they repeat using racial slurs, homophobic verbal assaults etc. they should get a perm mute in chat. All players regardless of race, creed, socioeconomic class, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation should feel like Stake is a safe and welcoming place to play and no language of the sort should be tolerated.

I see lots of players get angry for what ever the reason, and use racist or hate terms after losing a bet, or while arguing with another chatter. Lots of times it'll take complaining to live support or tagging a Stake staff member before anything is done. Almost as if they are waiting to see if anyone was offended enough to complain first before muting the individual. Which is crazy. And I don't think warnings are needed. Perm Mute the racists and hate speech.
