The earliest pc game I can remember playing was Aldos Adventure on my Grandfathers computer.

This was the early or mid 90s, and pretty obviously a knock off of the first Donkey Kong game (Marios first appearance in any video game). I remember him teaching me how to run the game from the DOS prompt, 'aldo' is probably the first thing I ever typed now that I think about it.

Kings Quest 3

Myst (the original and then a few sequels)

Sim City 2000
