Speedrun in video games

In video games there is something known as speedrun which consists of playing a video game as quickly as possible and there are websites dedicated to showing leaderboards with the best times in different categories that a video game can have, later I will go into detail with the categories.

Many people who like video games are happy if we manage to pass them, personally I enjoy watching the speedrun of GTA San Andreas, I am surprised by the ability that some players have to pass the video game as quickly as possible.

Then I will talk about the categories in speedrun that the video game GTA San Andreas has and its characteristics.

100% consists of passing the game to 100% as the title of the category says, it is long because not only do you have to do all the missions of the story mode, you also have to do the secondary missions, complete the collectibles and other things, the best Times in this category are around 12 hours for what was explained above, when I have seen a speedrun of this category I do it in parts as if it were a Netflix series.

Although I have passed GTA San Andreas a few times and tried to make speedrunners plays, some are easy and others more complicated, I have not tried to do a speedrun because I consider that it is something that requires too much practice to have a world record or do it moderately okay and be on a leaderboard.

While i personally dont speedrun games, i absolutely love watching and getting involved with AGDQ. Their blindfolded, metroid and indie speedruns are absolutely amazing and so incredibly entertaining to watch.
