jasonhowell Posted May 5, 2021 #1 Posted May 5, 2021 So I am totally digging Stake, I've used Bovada up until now and only for their sportsbook and poker holdem/Omaha. I used Roobet for their Casino. As I mentioned above I think stake grabs both of the elements in which I love from roobet and bovada. But there is one Bias that I have and you guys are going to tell me Duh! This guy would have an issue with this because of his situation. Low bottom tier players make up what 90% of the total stake community? Then the whales are 10%? Guessing here. The promotional idea Race is unique to stake.com I haven't seen it anywhere else and from the eyes of the owners/ employees perspective it makes since to give the cash prizes from the Race promo to the individuals who are dropping the most money it makes since to reward them they are spending the most! While I think the idea is intriguing I absolutely hate it. I will never be able to partake or be involved 😪 with it, and from here on out if you look its always the same people winning it. Total buzz kill its like the whales the ones who don't need the extra money are the ones constantly winning the race promo then 90% of your community stands far far back and can only dream of being 1 of the lucky 10 who will never ever get it.... - jasonhowell

The casino give prizes to whales to motivate them to wager more which nets them more profit. The winners of the races are not lucky... they literally just buy their way to top. They lose much more than the prizes they get... Often it's more of a brag competition than anything else. Some people spend a ton of money just to be the one you are jealous of. TLDR: Racers pay dearly for their prizes.

However, you could come to a casino anywhere in the world, you won’t find anybody that will give you some returns on your losses if you aren’t a high roller. The idea to give all these things only to high rollers has been around for decades. It’s the reality and we all just have to accept the fact that we aren’t like them. So yeah! Stick with maybe one day you’ll hit it, then get your name on the top of list on these races.
