Not everyone is pleased by the increase in value one coin can make. That's the case of the Dogecoin dev team who don't see that explosion of the price in a positive way (Doge took 400% in value last month and is now at 1.15 billions $).

They believe there is a lot too much speculations in the markets and that thing are not related to the real product anymore.

The founder of Dogecoin, who left the project in 2015, said :  “I have a lot of faith in the Dogecoin Core development team to keep the software stable and secure, but I think it says a lot about the state of the cryptocurrency space in general that a currency with a dog on it which hasn’t released a software update in over 2 years has a $1B+ market cap.”

And I believe he SO right. I'm saying the same about Doge for a long time now. A "dead" coin can't take so much value in a healthy market.

The only reason why people love dogecoin so much is because of the transaction speed and cheap fee as well.

Doge was originally created as a joke currency, I never thought its gonna be like this too.

There is a crypto currency called RaiBlocks. 0 fees and almost instant transaction :D

It seems to me that it will be a small coin for exchanging currencies, but it will not grow very much in price, but it will not disappear because of the low commission
