Moderator Saurabh00707 Posted May 26, 2024 Moderator #166 Posted May 26, 2024 In blackjack, the decision to hit or stand depends on both your hand total and the dealer's upcard. In this scenario, the dealer's upcard is a 6, which is considered a weak card for the dealer because it's less likely to lead to a strong hand. You have a total of 13, which is a relatively weak hand. Since the dealer's upcard is weak, there's a higher chance that they will bust (exceed 21). In such cases, it's often recommended to stand on a total of 13 or higher to avoid the risk of busting yourself. Therefore, in this scenario, it's generally advisable to stand and hope that the dealer busts, rather than risking going over 21 by hitting and potentially busting yourself.
Pavlo Posted June 8, 2024 #170 Posted June 8, 2024 Stand for sure! If the dealer has 6 you always want to Stand!
ka7an11 Posted June 8, 2024 #173 Posted June 8, 2024 Actually i sometimes don't press either hit or stand but just wait for the timeout, so the other players are dealt more cards and sometime later i again get an option to see if I wanna play or stand...so what i mean is don't press either and wait for time out if you are lucky you might get a chance later after other players and then u can see what the dealer has finally...make sense?
