J21PerezMsc Posted May 25, 2021 #1 Posted May 25, 2021 Stake has made raffles where only those with enough money can access a ballot for that event almost without losing a dollar. Unlike those who have little and would like to be part of these raffles, by trying to get a ballot they lose their account balance. At this point it demonstrates Stake's interest in making more and more money at the expense of those who have the least, and with it favoring and facilitating access to their events only to like Stake players. ⬇️ Question ⬇️ Do you think stake should take into account the gameplay of users unable to get a $1000 ballot, and change the value of each ballot to the cost of $10 so that most Stake users can have the opportunity to access the $100,000 Weekly raffle?
jungl3 Posted May 25, 2021 #2 Posted May 25, 2021 The main issue with this is that people could easily wager $500 or more (50+ tickets) using free money from a signup offer. They could do this a few hundred times, giving themselves a reasonable chance at winning a raffle prize without ever depositing. Stake would be losing money and time dealing with all of these accounts, and players with higher wagering would be paying for it in terms of less bonuses/not winning as many raffles. Also, I think eddie would start to fuck up the numbers if the tickets went to 1,000,000,000+. They'd be more complicated to read out and copy/paste anyway.
mkeup Posted May 25, 2021 #3 Posted May 25, 2021 More money means more money lol The thing is,even with 10$ tickets odds are we would never hit one raffle ever... That would be 8 000 000 tickets per week
Moderator maverick528 Posted May 25, 2021 Moderator #4 Posted May 25, 2021 $10 wagered in a week for getting a ticket is just too low, its impractical. Whats more, mathematically you will be magnifying the difference between big and small players. A user that wagers $1900 weekly now gets 1 ticket, but with the $10 criteria that same user will get 190 tickets. In theory you multiplied the number of tickets to be distributed by 100 with the $1000 to $10 change, but as you can see, some users will get more tickets this way.....
Mintin4gold Posted May 26, 2021 #6 Posted May 26, 2021 Solution and fair things was keep 1000$ but limit tickets per user to 1. now poor can try to wager and be sure that his 1000$ wagered will give him equal opportunity to the rich who can spend 100,000$ per week on wager just for fun . see here the rich will continue to wager nomatter what so stake doesn’t lose on thier wagered amount but poor also will get a fair chance to win. 14 hours ago, maverick528 said: $10 wagered in a week for getting a ticket is just too low, its impractical. Exactly poor still won’t win. only wasy is limiting tickets per user
An4ki Posted May 26, 2021 #7 Posted May 26, 2021 It's maybe off-topic.. but when you're poor - don't gamble. Because if you have enough money to have a house to live in.. you have access to drinkable water and food. Wow you even have an internet and you still consider yourself poor ? With 100 dollars you can wager alot more than 1000$ if you are playing smart - so If you care just about raffles/bonuses play smart and not degen (hahahah full send 100$ bonus - rip in 2 minutes and wager just the 100$). Take it from the otherside If you will have extreme luck and you win the 5k$ its good for you. But when a rich dude wins 5k$ it's not that huge deal for him. So he takes it more "Okay I'm spending here alot money so they want to return something back to me - since I spend more money here I have bigger chance that I can recover atleast something". How would they feel spending 100k$ more than you and have the same chance to win? I don't really stand behind the rich don't get me wrong but what are you asking here is that you want to create unhealthy environment.
Dave1280 Posted May 26, 2021 #8 Posted May 26, 2021 That's a great loaded poll. I mean you do realise stake is actually running a business here?! You also do realise that no matter what the wagering requirements are for a ticket, those that wager more will always get more opportunities to win. $10 a ticket, holy shit man, do you know how many tickets people would end up with.. Crazy! The number of repicks that would need to happen, with those getting streaming benefits being picked. The number of tickets that people receive without actually wagering any of their own funds that week.. No, not going to happen.
tristay01 Posted May 26, 2021 #9 Posted May 26, 2021 I’m sorry but your answers for poll is a bit ridiculous! My options is yes stake must change ect ect or poor people don’t have a right to anything 😬

Totally loaded and leading poll, making it a meaningless rant.
scalibus22 Posted May 29, 2021 #11 Posted May 29, 2021 Mate if you cant wager 1k for a ticket then you dont get a ticket. its that simple. Why would it be any different if it was $10 per ticket...people who wager millions would still stack you.; it just complicates things
Beantothebag Posted May 29, 2021 #12 Posted May 29, 2021 There’s such a small chance of winning already, that would just make things worse
