Lol that's if counseling will be enough. imo I will have a good talk with him and try to drive him by any means on a different hobby than betting. Whatever it takes I wont stand to see him in my shoes. Gambling is nice and all, but not that nice when you lose all your money, go bankrupt and lose your family.
