How much money train 1 or 2 did you play before a really nice hit?

I been playing both and I'm so intrigued by the 2 games,  and hearing people talk potential is exciting. But man I just find my ass getting kicked endlessly by it.  Tell me about your experiences

What is sad about this game is I actually get excited when I hit for 2 to 3 dollars, it's just that bad in it's base game. 

It drives me nuts, sure I'd live a monster 10k 15k etc but hell I'd be happy to just hit for a few hundred or a 1000 bucks from it. Just damn,  like it just doesn't even tease you.
