Plinko is broken; play at your own risk.

I've played alot of plinko in my days at stake. This has never happened until today so it is something that recently happened that has broken the game.

The following messages are what I've sent to live support' I'm posting here only to warn anybody else considering  playing plinko right now so it doesnt happen to anyone else;

 

Plinko is seriously broken right now. I hit a 130x and 26x on $5 ball and it didn't show in my balance. So I tossed a couple more thinking it was the usual glitched balance that would fix soon. Didnt work' so then I half the bet to 2.50 and toss some more and hit a 5x that didn't register either and I've refreshed reblogged everything possible and my balance is still showing 1.29$ when that's not possible considering I hit the 130x and the 26x literally 4 balls before I dumped down the bet to 2.50' and then tossed a handful @ 2.50 hoping it would update balance...

 

I am recording all of my gameplay from now on because I already know the response is going to be something about how nothing can be done without a video of the error etc etc. So I'm hoping this will atleast get technical support to look into it and hope that nobody else had to experience the same thing.... I'll also never be playing plinko again which sucks because it's one of my top 3 favorites games

Plinko has been broken since it existed. There is nothing more irritating than watching the balls go into higher multipliers and registering as a fucking 0.2x. But yet you never see it hit a 0.2x and register as a higher multiplier 🤔

Yeah the more aware I am the more im observing "glitches" in favor of stake every time. Like how slide took two $10 bets on 7*multiplier and only paid $70 . More then one this happened. Amongst other "glitches" that conveniently stole my money. Never will it glitch to my benefit is right on point. Makes you wonder just how accidental they are as well as this whole proclamation of "provably fair" when sometimes  I'm so amazed that stake originals play out so apparently calculated that anyone would be compelled to question randomness. So I go to verify the bets and again so conveniently they don't exist in the archive. And to top it off stake won't acknowledge this to me. Rather shady don't ya think. I'd like to know if you get your money owed after you show the recorded play. I really hope you do. Myself, if I have to scrutinize every play I make and record it it kind of takes a whole goddamn fun out of gambling now doesn't it?

Yeah always record your betting sessions on any casino you play on.

One time I very clearly clicked stand on 20 (bj) yet it doubled. I remember this moment very clearly, since it was gonna be my last bet so i hovered over stand for a while.

Its their word against ours, so nothing we can do without proof. They asked me to replicate it, but since it happened once out of hundreds of thousands of bets, I just ended up losing more. 

Your issue sounds more like a visual problem, but that doesn't make it okay since playing with human emotions can be dangerous, especially regarding gambling. 

If you're under the impression you hit a big win, you're very likely to bet more, since you're in profit either way.

Exactly this. And they continue  to give  the same bullshit responses blaming the player and not even offering a fucking single cent to be fair to active/paying customers. Makes me reconsider playing here and feel like a schmuck for all the times I've defended stake when it was being slandered....

I dont see ur problem.

The result of the game certains when u click on the bet button.

U dont need to think that the ball is dropping down randomly, its just a visual thing - just an effect for the player.

Same as when u play wheel. Even if it stops "close" to another colour - it doenst matter, its just a visual thing, the result of the game certains after pressing the bet button.

I noticed the SAME!!!!!!!!......several 53X balls didn't register in my balance AT ALL!!!.....had to hit up support about it!!.....god knows how many I have missed by simply leaving it on auto and not noticing.... I just started a topic about it........the Manual bet speed is altered too! I clicked 20 balls fast and received 9 balls........WHATS GOING ON STAKE!!?? This is a SERIOUS malfunction of your software and has 100% short changed your clients out of Thousands of bets!!??

AGREED! they blame everything but themselves......it happened again today and i contacted support.......response was "You're the only one with this issue....email our tech team" FFS!!?

The worst thing about plinko when it vacuums everything towards the 0.2x i hit more then 30 back to back in the 0.2x… one day however ill hit the 1000x and celebrate

More proof of the game being broken. Even shows 26x on the side then the bet archive is obviously incorrect and does not match.  This is a fucking joke, yall need to take some accountability and stop telling people that its a visual glitch  and its "only happening to them "

Its a shame, to think i use to defend Stake to the fullest any time there were any accusations of it being rigged  or a scam/unfair. After the way that support decided to handle this, when its obvious  it is a serious malfunction and finesses good customers out of their hard earned money. Like the house edge isnt enough for y'all? You win in the end regardless, so why not respect your customers and take a little bit of accountability and admit that it is manipulative and obviously a fairly common "glitch"

The truth is the ball is just a visual thing to mimic reality, but the result is determined the moment you click "bet". I guess that if more players know that the balls falling are just a "fun thing" to distract your mind while the casino already know if you won or not, less people would play Plinko.

Of course, this doesn't mean that the game is rigged at all, it is just that the maths are settled and the visual are just an imperfect representation of it.

but manual betting is much, much, much more delayed... before you'd tap the bet button 10 times and it would drop 10 balls... now ur lucky if it drops like 3 balls lol
