Shopping on Amazon is About to Change for the Better with Zapit

Amazon is great, Amazon is awesome, easy to use, all of that. One main problem is that they can't always verify the quality of a product they sell. The reviews are made for that : users telling other users if it's a lame product or a decent one. But we all know reviews can be biaised or bought. And the opposite is true too, buying bad reviews for a competitor. Not very reliable.

It's where Zap.it come in place. They have a blockchain based application where legitimate product reviews are posted by consumers who have purchased a product online. Those last ones can review it through the browser they use or their mobile platforms. Reviews are then put through a rigorous process of moderation before publishing. Zapit incentivizes users for each review that is published.

But that can be done without blockchain, so what's the point to use it ?

Moderators can verify the reviews through the blockchain system for authenticity and approve or reject reviews. Each review needs multiple approvals before it can be published. This moderation process is in addition to the automated flag detection that companies like Amazon and Yelp use to identify spam reviews.

For now Zapit only works with Amazon but they plan to add lots of other marketplace in the future.

Basically the users will be rewarded in Zapit token everytime they will add a review, and every seller will be rewarded by a affiliate link (making them additionnal money from just selling the product on Amazon). The beat will be launched in the second semester of 2018 and the ICO will start in 15 days.

So Amazon took its first steps to support cryptocurrency. That's indeed a very good news for every crypto lovers. Also, the project seems very interesting to me..

Let see its progress..

Thanks @Kargai for sharing the news..
