I just signed up to the forum,

I've been playing for awhile and I’m a platinum player. This whole time I thought I was being entered into the promotions but it seems like only the forum players can redeem prizes.

 

just wondering if the prize ever went to someone who wasn’t signed up on the forum. Would stake have emailed the player or does it not work like that?

The forum challenges, has only be entered if you actively take part via the forum. 

Others, like Stake vs Eddie, slot level up tournaments, etc.. Are independent of the forum, and you'd get an email if you completed / won that promotion. 

 

In theory, you'd only be missing the forum challenges, and would know about them in the first place (or their requirements).
