mikii94 Posted August 25, 2021 #1 Posted August 25, 2021 👋 everyone I've been playing crash games alot lately and i was thinking adding a stablecoin would be a good idea because i have to resize my bet almost every 30mins - 1h since prices keep moving up and down. I don't think it's adequate for STAKE to consider a stablecoin without a proper peg.. You can probably only add either USDT or USDC since they have the most volumes and are the safest. Here is the thing, there is a token called [JRT] making Synthetics currencies using USDC as collateral and they are taking chainlink oracle prices, they are making new synths every months, so far they have jGBP jEUR jCHF and they will probably add alot more. After having done my DYOR, I noticed they were doing alot of testing with their contracts and a lot of audits. It looks like they are already working with one on / off ramp ( MtPelerin ) and soon probably with some big ones ( why not moonpay since you are working with them, if they accept jarvis network [JRT] ). They also have this cool thing called OCLR which allow any of their jFIAT to atomic swap between each other and with any erc20 tokens ( including eth of course ) with no slippage. Hence you don't need to have liquidity pools for each of them, all you'll need to have is USDC, Pro : One stablecoin behind every synths, so jPHP jEUR jGBP etc.. are all backed by USDC. Their stablecoins are always pegged because of chainlink, all of them have USDC as collateral and no splippage. OCLR is a Market Maker tool to get the best prices, 2 trades in one ( Eur USDC - USDC to something else ) Cons : They aren't known yet, might be a bit sketchy for someone who doesn't know anything about all this stuff You'll need to do your DYOR too ( i believe it's worth the time ) TLDR, Need stablecoins on stake, i'm not the only one asking ... i found this project where they are making synths with USDC as collateral so you could add alot of stablecoins, All in One Can add probably all currencies by only adding USDC and this JRT stuff -> EUR GBP CHF CAD PHP RUB JPY CNY KRW IDR PLN BRL etc.. People can onboard on STAKE with their own currencies and can play in their own currencies, let me know your feedbacks guys !
