Kargai Posted January 14, 2018 #1 Posted January 14, 2018 Few days ago I shared with you the fact that Dubaï had a plan to become the first blockchain powered city and government in the world (https://forum.stake.com/topic/4205-dubai-to-be-a-blockchain-city) In fact they already run some services based on blockchain right now, like land registry transactions. And the director of Smart Dubai said they will soon rolling out 20 blockchain applications. But Dubaï lurk at the blockchain technology for a long time now, it's a way for them to diversify away from relying too heavily on oil revenues. Source : https://www.thenational.ae/business/smart-dubai-close-to-rolling-out-20-blockchain-based-services-1.695280 I'll be always amaze on how Duabï is moving fast. They seem to be one step further than anyone else (except maybe Japan) when it come to technology. And they will save thousands of hours of time every year with those applications.
wilberthh Posted January 14, 2018 #2 Posted January 14, 2018 I'm amazed of how consistent they are. Very good county Indeed, in the term of technology, I think japan is still leading now.
