"FIXED" Won a telegram challenge, mod wouldn't pay

So I feel totally disrespected and am really disgusted with stake right now.  Anyone who's tried the telegram challenges knows that they are NOT easy to actually complete.  It's not a lot of money if you win but it's entertaining.  So today the last challenge goes up after the first 12 prizes were claimed and the challenge was "Get 4 Queens in video poker with a bet ID where one of the last 2 digits is a 4."  

I accidentally read it as "the last digit has to be a 4" so while playing I hit 4 queens but last digit was 9 so I copied bet ID just for kicks to maybe show later that I got close.   So I kept playing and went back to telegram to see if all prizes were claimed yet, they were not.  1 spot remained.  But while doing so I reread the challenge and saw that a 4 could be one of the last TWO digits of the bet ID.  So I checked my bet ID and low and behold it ended with 49. So I posted it to the challenge chat expecting to claim the last prize.  1st challenge I've ever won.   

Wrong.  They say it's an old bet. I explain I misread the challenge at first and just realized i had a winning bet and just because it was from 5 minutes ago doesn't mean its old. It was made during the challenge period.  So they decided to pay me.  

WRONG! Without even checking what I said I get banned from chatting anymore and see they just totally disregarded my bet like I'm a piece of trash going thru my bet history looking for a time I hit 4 queens... i mean, why else would I be playing video poker with a zero bet unless it was the challenge?  

I contacted my host about it and have yet to hear back yet but it just left a really bad taste in my mouth. It doesn't say that the winners bet IDs need to be consectutive.  Here's the bet ID in question.

and I'm attaching proof that my bet ID was made after the 12th prize was claimed and the last challenge (3 prize places) had started.  Again, it's not a lot of money, but to actually hit a challenge and have your bet tossed out just because you post it a few minutes after you hit it shouldn't have any effect if there's still a spot left to claim and the bet was made in the challenge period.  And to be treated like a cheater and banned from the chat just really has me pissed.  

Pic just showing my bet fell into the challenge window for the last 3 places and should've been treated as a qualifying bet when I realized it was a winner and posted it to claim 15th prize.

At the beginning the challenge was like that: 

Live challenge:Stake Video Poker: Win a bet with 4 OF A KIND with Q's and bet ID ending on 4. (3 winners)

I didn't try to do that since anyone aware of probability wouldn't ask for it lol. But it's likely that they changed it to last 2 digits later (just guessing). I think they accepted these bets which are made after the update.

I tried telegram challenges couple of times and it's too hard and it sucks to lose this way. They could've accepted the old bets but there was a risk of more than 3 people already had that and it would only be fair if they paid the prize to all of them. Looks like they preferred to prize only bets after that point. It sucks and I wish stake paid you but this it's not like mods don't accepted your bet. They are just trying to be fair, we can discuss the way they do it but this is not ignoring your bet.

Your bet was made when the challenge request was "bet ID ending on 4".

Since we didn't had a winner for a while, we added request "bet ID having 4 anywhere in the last TWO digits".

Your bet was not valid because it was made before we changed the request.

When I changed the request, I wrote that old bets won't count. Valid were only bets made after the request was changed.

I explained you that in chat, no need for spamming support or opening topics here.

That is a regular thing when we change a request for a challenge, you can ask that any regular TG challenge player.

Pay more attention next time.

Well can you see the confusion on my end when I'm playing on my phone, don't even have the chat opened so I can see my bets and am switching windows between reading the challenge on telegram as fast as possible to then switching back to my browser to try to complete challenge. Then switching back to the telegram app to see if the challenge is done yet and in the telegram chat it didn't say "CHALLENGE UPDATED AT X:XX TIME: NOW LAST 2 DIGITS CAN BE A 4!" 

No. It looked exactly the same except it seemed I missed a word reading it the first time. So if what u say is true the telegram message went from "Get 4 q's with bet ID last digit needs to be 4"  to  "Get 4 q's with bet ID last 2 digits need to be 4"  when playing on phone and switching tabs back and forth and not having chat up, and not even knowing you can change a challenge mid way through it which seem pretty redic.  I saw people struggle for an hour the other day trying to get a 256k on limbo and by the time I gave up it never changed.  

So If you changed it midway through the challenge, well then whatever... I guess u guys win, even tho thats shady. But even then How do I know it wasn't changed before my bet ID was hit? 

And to address you saying you explained that to me in chat... thats simply not true.  You said "bet old". I pled my case, and was instantly silenced by you while you told everyone else " to keep playing.  Thats not a winner."  Nothing was explained to me and is why I brought it here.  I mean how can you try to convey what happened when u get silenced after the first sentence you type?  Sorry.  But you handled the situation poorly. But I doubt I'll get an apology because just from your language it's obvious u have that "never ever wrong attitude" or as the poster above elegantly stated "Marco is vicious" ...truth.

I can see the confusion.  Playing tg challenges on your phone puts you a significant disadvantage since you can't have the game, chat and tg open at the same time, plus it take more time to go from hitting the bet to posting it in chat.  It's not ideal, and mods do plenty of dumb things that deserve criticism, but in this case I think you're the only one handling the situation poorly.

Genuinely asking here.. not in a condescending way at all.  Seriously. But how am I handling the situation poorly.  Contrary to what Marco said, nothing was explained to me until I made this thread. I understand now they changed the challenge midway thru.  I did not know this earlier.  And if anything, sharing my experience can give insight to other potential challenge players that if you're playing on your phone you're going to need 3.  1 for chat. 1 for telegram. 1 for bets because changes can be made at any time with some details in chat and others in telegram.   And if you have an issue you'll just get silenced and spoken down to like a hoodlum for not knowing you must keep up with the chatlog to know when rules change instead of focusing on actually hitting the challenge.

Well, you mistakenly titled the thread "Won a telegram challenge, mod wouldn't pay", and ranted about how disgusted you are with Stake.  Then, when you found out that your bet was not actually eligible, instead of making an apology and correcting the title, you just continue to rant.

Because the tactics and rules are shady and after wagering over a million dollars on the site I think just a tad bit of respect should be given instead of this pompous "u should know all the little nuances of our basically impossible challenges where the rules change at any moment and if you have a problem with that, tough shit" attitude I've been given.      And I would change title and stop ranting if Marco would admit his rules are confusing and ever changing, he treated me with disrespect and arrogance,, and never actually explained to me why my bet didn't count until I posted here.  Then I would be happy to change title.  But I know that'll never happen.  So that's where I stand. And am more than willing to change title. Balls in his court.

There are plenty of accusations from players claiming they are entitled to something they aren't on this forum, I don't think you're hurting Stake much by choosing to leave the subject even though you know it's not true.  It's the occasional players that actually gets screwed only to get lumped in with all the fake accusations that you should consider.

Still just waiting for that apology. But people like him don't apologize so I'll leave it up.  He could apologize for lying about telling me why my bet wasn't accepted. He could apologize for thinking everyone knows you need to have 3 phones if you want to do the challenges on your mobile.  So u could see rule changes in chat and then it slyly edited in the official telegram channel.  And one to actually gamble. But like I said. Dudes like him don't apologize. Like I said.  Balls in his court.

I can see and understand it from your perspective and how you wasn’t aware of the change and how confusing it can become that’s why I don’t like doing telegram challenges on my phone but rather use my phone with telegram open to stay up to date on changes while hunting it on the computer cause I can see the chat as well. I assume the problem has been solved and hope things are all good now. Best of luck. 🙂

Thanks Nenad.  Yes I was contacted by my host who took care of it.  And thank you for the apology!  That's all I was looking for, unfortunately Marco, as expected still will not admit to lying about explaining why my bet was no good, and apoligixe for treating me like garbage.  Luckily it seems the 99% of the other other stake employees have customer relation skills and decency.   So for that ill change the the title so it reads "fixed". But only because of the good people here like my host and Nenad.  Marco on the other hand, needs to learn to swallow his pride and take a course on customer relations.  Again. Thanks Nenad for the apology.

I'm 12% of the way to Plat4.  Wagered over 31 BTC not even including other currencies. So without even doing the math it's easily over 1mil wagered. Not that it matters but I'd check your sources.

I'm pretty sure you would think you won the challenge too. And as you can see, I don't need to "extort" stake for $15.  It's still about the principle of the matter, how poorly it was handled by the challenge host, and unannounced rule changes during the middle of the challenge.  So if even one of those issues has been solved, or someone else reads this and realizes the rules to a challenge can change during the challenge, without any notice in the telegram channel, then I'm still glad I made the post.  Have a good day. I tried to join the challenge for September 10th, when i saw it it was on diamonds, "Win 2 green, 2 yellow, 1 purple in exact order" So i tried. Darki and another 1 already won and i'm still trying. But when i refreshed the telegram, it was already changed to video poker. Is it just me? my connection? Or it really changed.

I agree they should do more to make sure everyone playing for the challenge is aware when the requirements change.

But you still didn't win the challenge.  And you've known that since Markos post in this thread.  

Adding "Fixed" next to a false accusation doesn't make the accusation any less false.
