Blue Samurai Faulty Spin

Hello I'd appreciate if firstly you didn't close the topic without awaiting my response. What's the point in there being a forum if you're going to close the option to discuss?

 

Secondly I see you say that it says in rule 8 that the goal is to get as many blue samurais as possible. It also says that 3 scatters will give 10 bonus round spins. Now that doesn't stop you from getting the special bonus now does it? so why would it do that the other way round?

That's not the case, if so.  You can only trigger/retrigger free spins during base game/free spins.

I'm saying it doesnt state anywhere in the rules that this would be the outcome. 

I'm saying in the rules it says that 3 scatters should trigger free spins.. it doesn't say unless you're in the special spins. If that is what is meant it should be rectified to show that no? 

How else would anyone know about this unless they've fallen victim to it..

Well the topic says faulty spin.  It's not that.  It's how the game was programmed.

Perhaps the rules could be more explicit, but I think it's pretty clear from the animation and the rules that the 'special game' is different from base spins and free spins.  All the other icons, including the scatters are greyed out, two of the reels don't spin, and the rules tell you what the goal is: 'to complete the board with Samurais'.  

The first time playing this game I would have been surprised if it were possible to trigger free spins from the special game.

I understand your point but to be honest they are assumptions.

 

Are we basing the result of the game by assumptions or rules?

 

So therefore I think the rules need to be amended appropriately. 

 

The whole point of the rules is so that you gave guidelines to follow. There are no guidelines for such event.

Rule #8 - "During the Special Game, you have five chances to complete the board with Samurais. The number of Samurais spun will pay accordingly with the Special Game Pay Table."

Please note the keyword here, WITH SAMURAIS. Meaning, all other results and symbols are irrelevant in this round.

I think it is clear in rule 8 that when the special samurai spins are triggered, there are 5 (five) spins (five chances) .

Only five spins, and it can not be retriggered any way.

The special game that is always 5 spins long even has its own separate pay-table.

The special game is different from normal spins and is also different from bonus rounds.

Tbf I also didn't realize that the scatters wouldn't trigger the free spins during the special game.... Honestly if we think about it, blue samurai doesn't always make sense in the way it pays and it is different than most of what we're used to, which is the reason the topic was talked about in the guide stake posted...

 

That being said this is not the first time I've seen someone mention something about not getting free spins after they got scatters during special game on samurai maaaybe they could change the rules, or include in that guide, something simple as "3 or more scatters trigger the free spins except during special game" to avoid the confusion.
